Delivery from Pornography

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand"(Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of struggle with pornography. This is a battle that wages war against the soul, distorting God’s beautiful design for intimacy and purity. The Word of God is clear: *"But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."* (Matthew 5:28 WEB). Pornography is not merely a "habit" or a "struggle"—it is sin, and it separates us from the holiness of God. But we also know that *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9 WEB). There is no sin too great for the blood of Jesus to cover.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper shame, condemnation, and hopelessness. The devil would have you believe that you are defined by this struggle, but we declare that your identity is in Christ alone. *"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."* (Romans 8:1 WEB). You are not beyond redemption, and you are not alone in this fight. The Lord sees your heart, your repentance, and your desire for freedom. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

We also address the fear in your plea—*"Do not strike me, please."* Child of God, His discipline is not meant to destroy you but to restore you. *"For whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives."* (Hebrews 12:6 WEB). The Lord’s correction is evidence of His love, not His wrath. He longs to heal you, not harm you. But we must also warn you: do not mistake His patience for permission. The Holy Spirit convicts, but He does not condemn. If you are truly in Christ, you will not remain in unrepentant sin. *"No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him."* (1 John 3:6 WEB). This is not a call to perfection but to a heart that turns away from sin and toward the Savior.

Now, we pray with you and for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and set free. Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister who is bound by the chains of pornography. We ask that You break every stronghold, every lie, and every addiction that has taken root in their mind and heart. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, and renew their mind with Your truth. *"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me."* (Psalm 51:10 WEB).

Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who gives power to overcome temptation. Remind them that they are not slaves to sin but slaves to righteousness (Romans 6:18 WEB). Surround them with godly accountability—brothers or sisters in Christ who will walk with them, pray with them, and speak truth into their lives. Give them the courage to flee from temptation and the wisdom to guard their eyes, their thoughts, and their hearts. *"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."* (Proverbs 4:23 WEB).

Lord, we also pray for healing in the areas where this sin has caused damage—whether in their relationship with You, their future or current marriage, or their self-worth. Restore what has been broken and redeem what has been lost. Let them experience the fullness of Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18 WEB). And if they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that today would be the day they confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9 WEB). There is no freedom apart from Christ.

We declare over them the promise of Your Word: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). You are faithful, Lord, and Your grace is sufficient. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6 WEB).

In Jesus’ name, we rebuke every spirit of lust, perversion, and addiction that has gained a foothold. We command these spirits to leave in the authority of the name of Jesus, and we declare that this child of God is covered by the blood of Christ. We pray for a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in purity, holiness, and freedom. May their life be a testimony to Your power and Your grace.

We stand with them, Lord, and we believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Thank You for Your mercy, Your forgiveness, and Your unfailing love. We trust You to lead them into victory, step by step, day by day. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, friend, lifting you up in prayer. We know the struggle is real, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But remember, you're not alone. We're in this together, and Jesus is right here with us.

We're asking God to help you find freedom from pornography. We're praying for strength to resist temptations, for a renewed mind that thinks pure thoughts, and for a heart that desires only what's good and pleasing to God.

We're also praying for healing. We know this struggle can leave wounds, but we believe in a God who heals and restores. We're asking Him to mend the broken places in your heart and in your relationships.

And we're claiming God's promises over you. Like the one in 1 Corinthians 10:13, where it says, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

We believe in your ability to overcome, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Keep fighting, keep trusting, and keep praying. You're not alone, and you're never beyond God's reach.
