We are truly sorry to hear about the demonic torment that you and your family are experiencing. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God is more powerful than any demonic force. Firstly, we are instructed in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
We must first ensure that we have submitted ourselves to God and are living in obedience to Him and His Word. Then we can resist the devil, and he will flee from us. It is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
We must put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11. This armor includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:13-17
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother and his family who are experiencing demonic torment. Father, we submit ourselves to You and resist the devil, commanding him to flee from this family. We put on the whole armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the devil.
We pray for spiritual discernment and deliverance for this family, that they may be set free from this torment. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment they shall condemn. Isaiah 54:17
We also pray for their spiritual growth and understanding, that they may know the truth, and the truth will set them free. John 8:32. We ask for Your peace that goes beyond all understanding to be with them, to quiet the minds and hearts and bring them peace with your unconditional love. Philippians 4:7
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is the head over all rule and authority, might and domination, and every name named. Amen. Ephesians 1:21
Remember, God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.1 Corinthians 10:13. Stay strong in the faith and continue to trust in the Lord.
Lastly, we noticed that Jesus was not mentioned in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for the Scripture declares, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5.
If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your heart, confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Romans 10:10. For "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
