We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without this, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.
Now, we stand in the authority of Jesus’ name to break every curse that has been spoken, invoked, or unleashed against this family. The Word of God declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every generational curse, every word of death or destruction, and every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ mighty name. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse and protect this family from every evil influence. We declare that the power of the cross and the resurrection has broken every chain, and we command every curse to be nullified and rendered powerless now.
For the son mentioned in this request, we pray for complete healing—body, soul, and spirit. We ask the Lord to guide him in a safe and sustainable journey toward a healthy weight. May he seek God’s wisdom in his choices, whether in diet, exercise, or rest, and may the Lord strengthen his body to shed the excess weight in a way that honors Him. We pray for discipline and self-control, which are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), and for the Lord to renew his mind with truth so that he does not fall into patterns of emotional eating or self-destructive habits. Let his body be a temple of the Holy Spirit, cared for with reverence and gratitude (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
We also lift up the deep wounds of the past that may still linger in his heart. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask for the healing balm of Gilead to flow over every memory of pain, rejection, or trauma. Let the love of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We declare that he is not defined by his past hurts but by the identity he has in Christ—beloved, redeemed, and whole. May he forgive those who have wronged him, just as Christ has forgiven him (Colossians 3:13), and may the Lord replace bitterness with peace, anger with joy, and sorrow with hope.

Strengthen their faith, deepen their dependence on You, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so that they may walk in victory. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. We speak life, health, and wholeness over them in the name of Jesus. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.

We're standing with you in faith, believing for complete healing and deliverance. We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We're asking for a safe and sustainable journey to a healthy weight, with discipline and self-control. We're also praying for deep healing from past hurts, that the love of Christ would guard his heart and mind. We're believing for a future filled with hope and joy. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
