We hear your cry for restoration and deliverance, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and grace. Your acknowledgment of backsliding and your desire to return to Jesus Christ is a powerful first step, for the Scriptures tell us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He does not turn away from a repentant heart, but draws near with healing and restoration.
We rebuke the enemy’s lies that may have whispered to you that your sins are too great or that the Lord’s mercy is not sufficient. The blood of Jesus Christ covers all sin for those who turn to Him in faith. *"Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool"* (Isaiah 1:18). The Devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against every scheme of the enemy, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence (Psalm 91:3).
We also lift up your physical healing, for the Lord is the Great Physician. By His stripes, you were healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we pray that He would touch your body with His restoring power. Do not grow weary in seeking Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
For your provision, we trust in the Lord’s promise that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). He is Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides, and He will not forsake you. We pray that your heart would be flooded with godly sorrow—not the sorrow of the world, which leads to death, but the sorrow that leads to repentance and life (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would draw them close to Your heart. Lord, soften their heart with Your love and flood it with godly sorrow that leads to repentance. Restore them to Yourself, O Lord, and let them experience the fullness of Your grace and mercy. Heal their backsliding, and renew a steadfast spirit within them (Psalm 51:10).
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over them. Expose and confound every scheme of the enemy, and let Your light shine in the darkness. Deliver them from every snare and stronghold, and surround them with Your angels for their protection (Psalm 34:7). Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for their physical healing, Lord. Touch their body with Your healing hand and restore them to health. Strengthen them in their weakness, and let them rise up in the power of Your might.
Father, we trust You to provide for all their needs. Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Let them see Your faithfulness in every area of their life.
Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to walk in obedience to Your Word. May they know the height, depth, and breadth of Your love, and may they be rooted and grounded in it (Ephesians 3:17-19).
We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). May they walk in the freedom and fullness of life that You have promised, to the glory of Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
