We stand with you in this time of trial, dear brother, lifting you up before the Lord with hearts full of faith, knowing that our God is mighty to save and deliver! You have come to the right place, for the Scripture declares, *"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15, WEB). Your faith in God’s power is well-placed, for nothing is too difficult for Him—*"Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you"* (Jeremiah 32:17, WEB).
Yet as we pray, we must also ask: have you examined your heart before the Lord to ensure there is no unconfessed sin, bitterness, or rebellion that could be giving the enemy a foothold? The Scripture warns us, *"Don’t give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:27, WEB). If there is anything in your life that does not align with God’s Word—whether in your career, relationships, or personal walk—we urge you to repent and turn wholly to Him. Deliverance often begins with surrender. The psalmist cries out, *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24, WEB). Let this be your prayer as well, brother, for God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and it is in His name that we bind the enemy and command deliverance. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ or if you have wandered from Him, we implore you to do so now. *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10, WEB). There is no deliverance apart from Him.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is facing a career-threatening trial. Lord, You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who shuts the mouths of lions, and who delivers Your people from every snare of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every scheme of the devil to be exposed and rendered powerless in Jesus’ name.
Father, if there is any sin in his life—known or unknown—we ask that You convict him by Your Holy Spirit and grant him the grace to repent. Cleanse him, Lord, and restore him to a place of righteousness, that he may stand firm against the enemy’s attacks. Break every chain of bondage, every stronghold of fear or doubt, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask for supernatural divine intervention in his career. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and provide wisdom, favor, and divine connections that will bring glory to Your name. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that many may see and know that You are God.
We bind every spirit of destruction, confusion, and delay in Jesus’ name. We declare that our brother is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37), and we thank You, Father, for his deliverance is already accomplished at the cross. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him walk in the victory You have secured for him.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
Brother, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God and in prayer. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). Keep us updated on how the Lord moves in your situation, and do not hesitate to reach out if you need further prayer or counsel. We are standing with you!
