Deliverance Prayer

Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you cover my son and me with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11.

I prayed that my mom would be rooted out of all the areas she tried to lead him astray and she left for three weeks, there’s been a good change since, I ask that the Lord Jesus continue to root out my mom from all areas of our lives where she was causing harm, standing on Jeremiah 12:14.

Lord Jesus remove all co-dependency that me or my son have to my mom, and establish our lives outside of her manipulation and control, standing on Proverbs 16:3.

I ask that you cancel all witchcraft placed against my son or me, standing on Micah 5:12. Lord Jesus bring down all strongholds over my son and me that are meant to hinder or harm us, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Move out of the way of my son or me anything that is blocking our progress or blessings, standing on Matthew 17:20.

Lord Jesus send your angels to encamp around my son and me to protect us from harm, standing on Psalm 91. I ask that you restore my relationship with my son Lord Jesus, standing on Isaiah 61:7.

In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We stand with you in agreement, lifting up this heartfelt cry for deliverance and protection over you and your son. The name of Jesus is powerful, and we declare His authority over every scheme of the enemy, every generational stronghold, and every spirit of manipulation and control. Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we join you in standing on the promises of God.

First, we rebuke the influence of your mother in your lives where it has been harmful or ungodly. The Word of God is clear: "This is what the Lord says concerning all my wicked neighbors who attack the inheritance I gave my people Israel: ‘I will uproot them from their land and I will uproot the people of Judah from among them.’" (Jeremiah 12:14). We declare that any ungodly soul ties, co-dependency, or control she has exerted over you and your son are broken in the name of Jesus. The Lord is your defender, and He will establish you in freedom.

We also cancel every assignment of witchcraft and every demonic stronghold that has been set against you and your son. "I will destroy witchcraft from your hand, and you shall have no more soothsayers." (Micah 5:12). The enemy has no authority over those who are covered by the blood of Jesus. We stand on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, declaring that every thought, every lie, and every plan of the enemy is taken captive and brought under the obedience of Christ. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

We pray for the restoration of your relationship with your son, as you have asked. "Instead of your shame you shall have double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double. Everlasting joy shall be to them." (Isaiah 61:7). Father, we ask that You heal any wounds, rebuild trust, and strengthen the bond between mother and son. Let Your love and peace reign in your home.

We also declare protection over you both. "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." (Psalm 91:11-12). Lord, we ask that Your angels encamp around them, shielding them from every form of harm, seen and unseen.

Lastly, we address the co-dependency and any unhealthy attachments. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that you and your son would find your identity, security, and purpose in Christ alone. May you both walk in the freedom and fullness of life that Jesus died to give you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers and protects. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of generational sin, manipulation, and control. We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and leading them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.

Lord, we ask that You restore what the enemy has stolen. Bring healing, peace, and divine order into their lives. Let Your light shine brightly in their home, dispelling every darkness. We pray for wisdom, discernment, and strength as they navigate this season. May they grow closer to You and to one another, reflecting Your love and grace in all they do.

We declare this prayer answered, for You are faithful, and Your Word does not return void. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you. We hear how much you love your son and how long you have carried concern about your mom's influence and how deeply you want both of you to be protected and free. It is encouraging to hear that these three weeks have brought a good change. That is something to thank God for as you keep asking for wisdom going forward.

Wanting to step out from manipulation and control toward a healthier way of living is a good and steady goal. Healthy relationships are interdependent, not enmeshed, where each person can make responsible choices while still loving one another. Building clear boundaries takes time and often helps to have support.

It can help to walk this out with one or two trusted people, a pastor or counselor you know, who can help you think through what boundaries look like in daily life with your mom and how to nurture your connection with your son in calm, consistent ways. You do not have to sort all of this alone.

Father, we lift this mom and her son to you. Cover them with your care, guard them from harm, and give this mom wisdom and strength as she seeks to live free from control and to love her son well. Bring healing where there has been hurt, establish peace in their home, and lead them step by step in your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for deliverance has been brought before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we join you in seeking His mercy and power for you and your son.

We rejoice to hear that you have already seen a measure of deliverance, and that the Lord has granted a good change in these three weeks. This is the Lord's doing. As we have often said, deliverance from sin and from every evil power is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He makes deliverance effectual and in every deed He brings His people forth, and we give Him all the honor, for willingly as we move, it is still true, He brought them forth.

You have asked to be covered with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelation 12:11, and we join you there. That blood is the ransom which God Himself has found. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but He has said, I have found a ransom. There is a higher restoration than recovery from outward trouble, there is deliverance from the guilt and power of sin through Jesus Christ alone, and deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification.

We pray with you that the Lord would continue to root out every harmful influence, as you have asked from Jeremiah 12:14, and that He would establish your lives outside of manipulation and control. Commit thy works unto the Lord, as Proverbs 16:3 exhorts, and thy thoughts shall be established. It is a glorious thing to have such a well in the family, where in prayer you can bring all the necessities of the household before God, and mention each child, and all the troubles of the past, and all the expected difficulties of the coming day. Continue to do so.

We ask with you that the Lord would cut off all witchcraft and every work of darkness, according to Micah 5:12, and bring down every stronghold that would hinder or harm you, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3 to 5. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. We ask that nothing that blocks your progress in the Lord would remain, for with faith as a grain of mustard seed, mountains are moved, and that He would send His angels to encamp around you, as Psalm 91 promises, for He shall give His angels charge over thee.

We also join you in praying for the restoration of your relationship with your son, that the Lord who gives beauty for ashes would grant you the double portion spoken of in Isaiah 61:7. The believer's conduct after affliction and after deliverance is to live and declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles we would have less to declare, but when He delivers, we have a richer theme for music, for we have been saved by a greater salvation.

May the clock of mercy strike in heaven the hour of your full deliverance, for the time is in His hand. Look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for this, and rest in the blood of the Lamb slain, for that is where deliverance came for Israel, and where it comes for us.

We pray: Lord Jesus, Thou hast found the ransom. Cover this dear one and her son with Thy precious blood. Root out what harms, break co dependency, cancel every work of darkness, pull down every stronghold, remove every mountain that blocks their path, encamp about them with Thy heavenly guard, and restore what has been broken. Establish their thoughts and their steps in Thee, and let them live to declare Thy works. In Thy name alone we ask, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and it is good that you begin with praise and thanksgiving and with trust in the precious blood of Jesus. Scripture says we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, and there is no other name by which we are saved. All true deliverance comes through Christ alone, who came to deliver us from evil and to bring us into sonship, so that we might receive the Spirit of adoption and be called children of God.

You have asked for covering and protection for you and your son, for freedom from manipulation and unhealthy dependence, for the cancelling of every work of witchcraft and every stronghold, for obstacles to be removed, for angels to encamp around you, and for your relationship with your son to be restored. I join you in bringing these needs to the Lord, standing on His promises.

Remember also what the Scriptures teach about deliverance. The greatest deliverance is not only being kept from outward harm or death, but being delivered from sin and being taught to despise the fear of death through hope in the resurrection. God often permits trials and chastening, which for the present seems grievous and not joyous, yet afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who are trained by it. Commit your works to the Lord, as it is written, and He will establish your thoughts and your steps. Lift up the hands that hang down and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may be healed rather than turned aside.

Concerning the pain you have felt in your family, hear this wisdom. When we bear meekly the spiteful acts of others, we gain much. First, deliverance from sins, second, fortitude and patience, third, mildness and benevolence, and fourth, freedom from continual anger. He who does not know how to hate those who grieve him will be much more ready to serve those who love him. We punish ourselves by hating others, and we benefit ourselves by loving them. Therefore while you pray for healthy boundaries and for your lives to be established outside of manipulation and control, do not give place to hatred toward your mother. Pray for her good, that she also may be brought to repentance and to Christ, and that you may be kept free from anger and from the despondency that follows it. Honor what is due, love as Christ commands, and let the Lord set the boundaries that bring peace.

Concerning witchcraft and strongholds, Scripture warns us plainly that such things as hatred, strife, heresies and witchcraft do not come from our nature alone but from a depraved moral choice, from earthly thoughts that trail upon the ground, and those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds and casting down imaginations that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. Therefore pray not only that every evil work against you and your son would be cancelled, but that you both would be kept in holiness and obedience to Christ, bringing every thought into captivity to Him. Where there is repentance and faith, the power of darkness is broken.

Lord Jesus, we thank You and glorify You. Cover this parent and this son with Your precious blood. Let Your deliverance be upon them, not only from outward danger but from sin, anger, and fear. Root out what has caused harm in their family, and establish their lives on Your will. Remove all unhealthy dependence and give them a sound mind and a steadfast heart as they commit their works to You. Cancel every work of witchcraft and bring down every stronghold that would hinder or harm them. Remove what blocks progress and blessing according to Your perfect will, and give them faith even as a mustard seed to trust You to move what only You can move. Command Your angels to encamp around them and keep them, as You have promised to those who dwell in Your shelter. Bring healing and restoration to the relationship between parent and son, and repay with double honor where there has been shame and pain. Form Christ in them, and keep them in Your peace.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for bringing yourself and your son before the Lord. Your desire to seek Jesus for protection, freedom, and restoration is precious to Him, and He hears the prayers of those who call on His name.

You asked to be covered with the blood of Jesus, standing on Revelation 12:11. Scripture teaches that we overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. It is not our own strength that saves us, but what Jesus has done for us on the cross. As you continue to trust in Him alone for salvation and to speak openly of what He has done, you are standing on firm ground.

You also prayed that harmful influences from your mother would be rooted out, and you have already seen some change. God does root out what harms His people, as Jeremiah 12:14 shows, and He is able to establish your lives on a healthier foundation. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us to commit our works to the Lord, and then He will establish our thoughts and plans. As you commit your daily decisions, your home, and your parenting to Him, He can free both you and your son from patterns of dependency and from manipulation and control, and teach you to walk in wisdom and in healthy boundaries that honor Him.

You mentioned witchcraft and strongholds. The Bible is clear that occult practices are real and that they are an offense to God, and God promises to cut them off, as Micah 5:12 declares. Yet our weapons against such things are not physical or human. As 2 Corinthians 10:3 through 5 teaches, the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but they are mighty through God to pull down strongholds, to cast down imaginations and every high thing that lifts itself against the knowledge of God, and to bring every thought into obedience to Christ. The most powerful of those weapons is prayer.

Scripture pictures strongholds as being like ripe figs on a tree. When the tree is shaken they easily fall into the mouth of the eater. People often try to fortify their own walls, to build them higher and stronger by their own effort, but that labor cannot stand. Fire and the sword will still break through. Only God can truly pull down a stronghold. As you pray, you are not fighting in your own strength. You are asking God Himself to shake and to bring down what has been raised up to hinder or harm you, and to remove what blocks your progress, as Jesus said that faith even as small as a mustard seed can move a mountain in Matthew 17:20.

You asked for angelic protection and for restoration with your son. Psalm 91 promises that as we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, He gives His angels charge over us to keep us. You can trust Him to encamp around you and your son and to guard you from harm. And restoration is always the work of God. Sin and broken relationships can take a heavy toll on a person and on a family, but God delights to restore what the enemy has stolen. Isaiah 61:7 speaks of receiving a double portion instead of shame and rejoicing in what He provides. He can heal and rebuild the bond between you and your son in His time and in His way as you both walk with Him.

Let me pray for you now.

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your blood shed on the cross and for the victory You have won. I ask that You cover this dear parent and this son with Your blood and make Your presence their refuge. Root out every harmful influence that has caused damage in their lives and establish them in Your will. Break every pattern of dependency and control and teach them to commit their ways to You, that You may establish their steps. In Your name we renounce every form of witchcraft and occult power directed against them and ask You to cut it off completely. Pull down every stronghold that has been raised up to hinder or harm them, cast down every lie that exalts itself against Your truth, and bring every thought into obedience to You. Move away every mountain that blocks their progress and blessing according to Your will. Send Your angels to encamp around them and keep them from harm. And Lord, do Your restoring work in the relationship between parent and child. Heal what has been broken, bring reconciliation where there has been distance, and give joy instead of shame. Keep them close to You and make them strong in Your Word and in prayer. In the name of Jesus we ask, amen.

Continue to stay close to Jesus, to read His Word daily, to pray, and to walk in fellowship with faithful believers who will encourage you in truth. If old patterns try to return, bring them quickly to the Lord in prayer and trust Him to be your strength and your defense.
