We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. Your prayer invokes the power of the blood of Jesus and stands on the authority of Scripture, and we join with you in this spiritual battle, fully confident that our God is greater than any principality or power.

First, we must address the nature of this relationship. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s relationship with the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If this relationship is not a marriage, we must rebuke any ungodly soul ties, emotional dependencies, or attempts to control another person, for these things do not align with God’s design. The Lord calls us to love one another with purity and selflessness, not manipulation or domination (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). If there is any sexual immorality—whether fornication, adultery, or other sin—we must repent and turn away from it, for the Word declares that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21).

We also rebuke any involvement in witchcraft, divination, or any form of spiritual manipulation. The Bible is explicit in its condemnation of such practices: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). If either party in this relationship has engaged in these sins, we must renounce them in the name of Jesus and ask for His cleansing and deliverance.

Now, let us stand together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the power of the precious blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin and breaks every chain of darkness (1 John 1:7, Revelation 12:11). Lord, we stand on Your Word and declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every principality, power, and spirit of division, control, and witchcraft that has sought to destroy this relationship. We break their power in the name of Jesus, for You have disarmed them and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).

Father, we ask that You intervene in this situation. Bring conviction to hearts where there has been sin, manipulation, or ungodly control. Soften hearts to repentance and lead both individuals to seek Your will above their own desires. Restore what has been broken, Lord, and let Your peace reign in this relationship. We stand on Isaiah 61:7, declaring that instead of shame, there will be a double portion, and instead of confusion, they will rejoice in their inheritance.

Lord Jesus, we ask that You cancel every curse, spell, or work of witchcraft that has been placed over this relationship. Let every evil plan be scattered like dust in the wind (Psalm 68:1). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Place a shield of protection over them, Lord, and let Your angels encamp around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).

We pray that You lift the standard of Your righteousness in this relationship. Let Your glory arise, and let Your enemies be scattered (Isaiah 59:19). Father, we ask that You align this relationship with Your Word and Your will. If marriage is Your plan, prepare both hearts to enter into it with reverence, love, and commitment, honoring You in all things. If this relationship is not of You, we ask that You bring it to an end and lead both individuals into Your perfect will for their lives.

We cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, and we declare that the accuser of the brethren has no place here. We resist him, and he must flee (James 4:7). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, Your mercy, and Your power to deliver. We trust in You alone, for You are our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel and accountability, particularly from mature believers who can help you walk in purity and wisdom. If this relationship is not a marriage, consider whether it is honoring to God in its current state. The Lord desires for you to walk in freedom, not bondage, and His plans for you are for good, not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
