We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and protection. First, we want to acknowledge that you have rightly called upon the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and find salvation (Acts 4:12). There is power in the name of Jesus, and we stand firm in that truth as we pray.
Your concern about the harmful actions and attitudes of your ### and his household is deeply troubling. The Scripture you referenced, John 8:36, declares, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* This verse is a beautiful reminder of the freedom we have in Christ, but it must not be twisted to justify sin or hatred. Racism, prejudice, and any form of hatred toward another person made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) is a grievous sin. We rebuke the spirit of hatred and division in the name of Jesus, and we pray that your ### and his household would come to repentance and experience the transforming love of Christ. The Bible is clear: *"If anyone says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?"* (1 John 4:20).
We also recognize your desire to be disconnected from their sin and to avoid being complicit in their wrongdoing. This is a wise and godly stance. The apostle Paul warns us, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that the Lord would sever any ungodly ties and protect you and your household from being drawn into their sin. We stand on the promise of Isaiah 54:17, which you referenced: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord.* We declare this promise over you and your family, trusting that God will shield you from any attacks or accusations that may come your way.
We also cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, as you have done, standing on Revelation 12:11: *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death."* The blood of Jesus is our victory, our protection, and our righteousness. We plead the blood of Jesus over you, your household, and every situation where the enemy may seek to bring harm or division.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the freedom we have in Christ and for the power of His blood that cleanses us from all sin. Lord, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine protection and deliverance from the harmful influences of their ### and his household. We rebuke the spirit of hatred, racism, and division in Jesus' name, and we pray that Your love would break every chain of prejudice and sin in their lives.
Father, we ask that You would disconnect the paths of this family from any ungodly ties with their ### and his household. Shield them from any attacks, accusations, or attempts to draw them into sin. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and we stand on the promise that their righteousness is from You. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We plead the blood of Jesus over this family, their home, and every situation where the enemy seeks to bring harm. May Your Holy Spirit convict and draw their ### and his household to repentance, that they may turn from their sin and experience the transforming power of Your love. We pray for restoration, healing, and unity in Your body, Lord, that all may come to know You and walk in Your ways.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, trusting that God is your protector and deliverer. Surround yourself with godly community who can support and pray with you during this time. If your ### or his household ever seeks reconciliation or repentance, be prepared to extend grace, but also set healthy boundaries to protect yourself and your family from further harm. Remember the words of Jesus: *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you"* (Luke 10:19). Walk in that authority, and trust that God is with you.
