We stand with you in agreement, lifting this request before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we want to affirm the power of the blood of Jesus and the authority we have in Him to break every chain and rebuke every work of the enemy. You are right to plead the blood of Jesus, for it is by His sacrifice alone that we have victory over sin, death, and the schemes of the devil. "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith" (1 John 5:4 WEB).
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7) and for the authority we have in Him to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Lord, we stand with our brother/sister in agreement, declaring that every chain of hindrance, oppression, and intimidation be broken off their life and the lives of their household. We rebuke every spirit of envy, jealousy, and intimidation that has been directed toward them, and we command these spirits to flee in Jesus' name. "The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?" (Zechariah 3:2 WEB).
We also address the mention of race in this request, as it is important to clarify that the enemy seeks to divide and conquer through any means, including stirring up strife and prejudice among people. However, in Christ, there is no Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for we are all one in Him (Galatians 3:28). We rebuke any spirit of division, racism, or intimidation that has been used to cause fear or insecurity. Father, we ask that You heal the hearts of all who have been affected by these tactics, restoring them to wholeness and security in You. "Instead of your shame you will have double; and instead of dishonor they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them" (Isaiah 61:7 WEB).
Lord, we declare that every principality and power working through any individual to bring harm or fear is canceled and disarmed by the cross of Christ. "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it" (Colossians 2:15 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus as a barrier between our brother/sister and any who seek to harm them, standing on the promise that they overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11).
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Walk in the authority you have in Christ, and do not be intimidated by the enemy’s tactics. Remember that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His deliverance and protection.
Lord, we also pray for the individual mentioned in this request. Father, we ask that You soften their heart and open their eyes to the truth of Your love and salvation. If they do not know You, draw them to Yourself so that they may repent and turn from any works of darkness. If they are a believer, convict them of any sin and lead them to repentance, that they may walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7). We pray for restoration and healing in every area of their life, that they may come to know the freedom and peace that only You can provide.
In all things, we trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. Amen.
