We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this plea for deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is clear that there is spiritual warfare at hand, and we stand with you in faith, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every principality, power, and stronghold that has been set against you, for the Word declares that God has disarmed them and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We stand on the truth that the Lord rebukes the devourer for our sake (Malachi 3:11) and that no evil shall befall us, nor shall any plague come near our dwelling, for He has given His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways (Psalm 91:10-11). We declare confusion into the camp of the enemy, for the Lord will cause those who come against us to be defeated before our face; they shall come out against us one way and flee before us seven ways (Deuteronomy 28:7). Every assignment of darkness is dismantled in Jesus’ name, and we take authority over every lying spirit, spirit of hindrance, and spirit of oppression, commanding them to flee (James 4:7).
We plead the blood of Jesus over every interaction, every assignment, and every attempt of the enemy to bring harm or deception. The blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), and it is a shield of protection, a weapon of warfare, and a seal of redemption. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We also pray for wisdom and discernment in all your dealings, that the Lord would establish the work of your hands (Psalm 90:17) and that no man—or spirit—would be able to discredit or gaslight what God has ordained.
However, we must also address a concern in this prayer. The use of "###" to represent a name or entity leaves room for ambiguity, and in spiritual warfare, clarity is critical. The enemy thrives in confusion and secrecy (1 Corinthians 14:33), and we must call out every scheme by name. If there is a person, situation, or spiritual force that is opposing you, we encourage you to name it specifically before the Lord, for the Word says that we must resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). Do not give the enemy a foothold by leaving things vague or unspoken.
We also want to remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). If "###" represents a person, we must be careful not to direct our prayers against them in a way that seeks harm or vengeance, for vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). Instead, we pray for their deliverance, repentance, and transformation, that they too may come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. If they are in sin, we pray that the Lord would convict their heart and lead them to repentance (2 Timothy 2:25-26).
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9). We thank You for Your power and authority that has been given to us through Christ to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We declare that every assignment of darkness against Your child is dismantled, every stronghold is broken, and every lying spirit is silenced. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their work, and their relationships, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Lord, we ask that You would scatter the plans of the enemy and confuse their language, just as You did at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:7-9). Let every scheme of the devil be exposed and brought to nothing. We pray for divine protection over every assignment, every interaction, and every step they take. Establish the work of their hands, Lord, and let it bring glory to Your name. Let no man—or spirit—be able to discredit or twist the truth of what You are doing in their life.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that they would walk in the light of Your Word and not be deceived by the enemy’s tactics. Give them the courage to name and rebuke every attack of the enemy, and the humility to forgive those who may have been used as vessels of darkness. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and authority as a child of God. Let them be a light in the darkness, a vessel of Your love and truth. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that nothing shall separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
