We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this cry for deliverance and protection. First, we want to acknowledge the faith expressed in this prayer—faith in the power of Jesus Christ to shield, rescue, and rebuke the schemes of the enemy. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are cleansed and set free. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all deliverance and protection.
We stand with you in agreement, declaring that no weapon formed against you or your son shall prosper, for the Lord Himself is your vindicator (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every scheme, every thought, and every intention in the heart of those who seek to harm you, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. We cast down every imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and we bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). The enemy has no authority over you or your son, for you are covered by the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).
We declare that the Lord will rescue you and your son from every evil work and preserve you for His heavenly kingdom, for to Him belongs glory forever and ever (2 Timothy 4:18). We rebuke every attack in the name of Jesus, for the Lord Himself rebukes those who would stand against His children. He says, "Is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?" (Zechariah 3:2). You and your son are not destined for destruction but for deliverance. The angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him, and they will bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone (Psalm 91:11-12). We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of your life and the life of your son, for they overcame the accuser by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11).
Father God, we come before You now in the mighty name of Jesus, our Deliverer and our Shield. We ask that You surround this dear one and her son with Your holy angels, that no weapon formed against them would prosper. Lord, we bind every spirit of hatred, bitterness, and malice that may be at work in the heart of those who seek to harm them. We loose the spirit of peace, reconciliation, and love in its place, for Your Word says that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). We declare that every assignment of the enemy against them is canceled, and every plot is dismantled in Jesus' name.
Lord, we ask that You fill their hearts with Your perfect peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding, which will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). Let them not be afraid or dismayed, for You are with them wherever they go (Joshua 1:9). We pray that You would turn the hearts of those who seek to harm them, that they may come to know You and experience the transforming power of Your love.
We also lift up any unforgiveness or bitterness that may be in the heart of this dear one. Father, help her to forgive those who have trespassed against her, just as You have forgiven her (Colossians 3:13). Let the love of Christ compel her to walk in forgiveness, for unforgiveness is a heavy burden that only hinders her own spiritual growth and deliverance. We declare that she is free from every chain, and we pray that she would walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for her.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through the cross. We declare that this dear one and her son are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We pray that they would experience Your presence in a tangible way, that they would know without a doubt that You are fighting for them. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your glory be their rear guard (Isaiah 58:8). We trust You, Lord, to complete the good work You have begun in their lives, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
