We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for deliverance, standing firmly on the truth that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). You have rightly come before the Lord Jesus, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we commend you for invoking His authority over this situation. It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7).
We stand with you on Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* Indeed, the Lord has plucked you out of the fire, and He will not allow the enemy to have his way. The disrespect and harm you have endured are not from the Lord, but we declare that He is your vindicator. As you have claimed Isaiah 61:7, we agree that instead of shame, you will receive a double portion, and instead of dishonor, you will rejoice in your inheritance. The Lord will restore what has been stolen, and you will be a testament to His faithfulness.
We also lift up this individual, whom we will refer to as this person, in prayer. Though their actions have caused pain, we remember that the Lord desires all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their heart, drawing them away from ungodly influences and into a place of surrender before Christ. As you have declared 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, we take authority over every stronghold in their life—every thought, habit, or relationship that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We pray that the Lord would break chains of rebellion, pride, or deception, and that this person would turn to Jesus in genuine faith. May they be surrounded by godly counsel and removed from any company that leads them away from the truth (1 Corinthians 15:33).
We cover this person with the blood of Jesus, as you have declared in Revelation 12:11: *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony."* We pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel, that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). If there is any unforgiveness in your heart toward this person, we encourage you to release it, for unforgiveness can hinder your prayers (Mark 11:25). Trust that the Lord will bring justice and restoration in His perfect timing.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mighty power at work in this situation. We ask that You would heal every wound caused by disrespect, rejection, or harm. Restore what the enemy has stolen and bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Lord, we pray for a divine intervention in this person’s life—draw them to Yourself, Lord Jesus. Break every chain and set them free from the enemy’s grip. If they have strayed from faith, we pray You would send laborers across their path to speak Your truth in love (Luke 10:2). Give them a heart of flesh, sensitive to Your Spirit, and remove any hardness or rebellion (Ezekiel 36:26).
We also pray for you, dear sibling in Christ, that the Lord would strengthen you with His might in your inner being (Ephesians 3:16). May you walk in forgiveness, peace, and the assurance that the Lord fights for you (Exodus 14:14). Do not grow weary in praying, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Keep standing on the promises of God, for He is faithful to complete the work He has begun (Philippians 1:6).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
