We join you in lifting up this request, standing firmly on the truth that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. You have done well to come before the Lord with praise and a heart seeking deliverance, for He is faithful to hear and answer the prayers of His people when we call upon Him in truth.
First, we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through His name alone that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only by His authority that we can stand against the schemes of the enemy and find true freedom.
Your prayer reflects a deep desire for deliverance from the negative influences tied to this individual and her household, particularly the grave sin of drug selling—a practice that brings destruction, addiction, and spiritual bondage to many. The Word of God is clear that such actions are detestable in His sight. *"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). Those who engage in such sins are ensnared by the enemy, and we must pray not only for our own deliverance but also for their repentance, that they may turn from their wicked ways and seek the Lord while He may be found.
You have rightly stood on Scripture, and we affirm these truths with you. *"So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB). Freedom in Christ is not partial—it is complete, breaking every chain of sin, shame, and oppression. We also declare with you the promise of 2 Timothy 4:18: *"The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom."* Our God is a deliverer, and He will not allow the enemy to triumph over those who trust in Him.
Yet we must also address the heart behind this prayer. While it is right to seek freedom from the influence of those who walk in darkness, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44, WEB). This does not mean we remain in harmful or dangerous relationships, but it does mean we intercede for their souls with a heart of compassion, even as we seek protection for ourselves and others. Let us pray that this woman and her household would encounter the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, that they would be brought to repentance, and that their hearts would be turned toward righteousness. *"Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?"* (Romans 2:4, WEB).
We also urge you to examine your own heart in this matter. Is there any bitterness, unforgiveness, or fear that needs to be surrendered to the Lord? *"See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness, springing up, troubles you, and many be defiled by it"* (Hebrews 12:15, WEB). The Lord calls us to release all resentment and trust Him fully with our protection and vindication.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who delivers, who breaks chains, and who sets the captives free. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who seeks freedom from the negative influences tied to this woman and her household. We ask that You would sever every ungodly soul tie, every cord of manipulation, and every scheme of the enemy that has sought to bind or hinder Your child. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we declare freedom, protection, and complete deliverance from any curse, hex, or assignment of darkness that has been directed toward them.
Lord, we also pray for this woman and her household. We ask that You would convict her heart deeply of the sin of drug selling and any other wickedness she is involved in. Let her encounter Your holy presence in a way that brings her to her knees in repentance. Break the power of addiction, greed, and deception in her life and in the lives of those connected to her. Lord, if she has been used as a tool of the enemy to hinder Your people, we rebuke that assignment now in Jesus’ name. Let every plan of the enemy be exposed and rendered powerless. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Father, we ask that You would disconnect the paths of our brother/sister from this woman and her household if it is not Your will for them to remain connected. Guide them into godly relationships and surroundings that honor You. Surround them with Your divine protection, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We declare that any tactics of shame, sin, or accusation directed at them are nullified by the blood of Jesus. *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They did not love their life, even to death"* (Revelation 12:11, WEB).
Lord, we pray for everyone who has been exploited or harmed by this woman’s actions. Bring them justice, healing, and restoration. Let her see the error of her ways and turn to You in fear and trembling, knowing that You alone are God. *"I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you"* (Exodus 23:27, WEB).
Father, we ask that You would set a standard against every scheme of the enemy that has come through this woman or her household. Let Your angels encamp around Your child, delivering them from all evil. *"When the enemy comes in like a flood, Yahweh’s Spirit will lift up a standard against him"* (Isaiah 59:19, WEB).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Strengthen our brother/sister in their faith, and let them walk in the fullness of the freedom You have purchased for them through Your Son, Jesus Christ. In His mighty and holy name we pray, Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, clothed in the full armor of God. *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil"* (Ephesians 6:11, WEB). Walk in forgiveness, trust in the Lord’s protection, and remain steadfast in prayer. If there are any areas of your life where you need to align more closely with His Word, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal them to you. He is faithful to guide you into all truth.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. Walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has secured for you!
