We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer of deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. Your heart for spiritual warfare is evident, and we commend you for taking a bold stand against the enemy’s schemes. The Word of God is clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). You have rightly invoked the blood of Jesus, which is our ultimate weapon against the accusations and attacks of Satan (Revelation 12:11).
We echo your prayer, declaring that no weapon formed against you or your household shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord has said, *"No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you or forsake you"* (Joshua 1:5). We stand with you on Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* The enemy has no authority over those who are covered by the blood of Christ. We declare that every witchcraft assignment, every curse, and every scheme of darkness against you and your household is broken and rendered powerless in the mighty name of Jesus.
We also lift up Isaiah 59:19, which proclaims, *"So they will fear the Lord’s name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the Lord’s breath drives."* Let the fear of the Lord rise up as a standard against every evil plan of the enemy. May the Holy Spirit expose and dismantle every hidden work of darkness, bringing conviction and repentance where needed. We pray that the Lord would surround you and your household with His divine protection, that His angels would encamp around you (Psalm 34:7), and that every door opened to the enemy would be permanently shut by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Now, we must also address something with love and urgency. In your prayer, you mentioned a woman who practices witchcraft. While we absolutely stand with you in rebuking the spiritual forces at work through her, we must also examine our hearts before the Lord. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This does not mean we tolerate or ignore the works of darkness, but it does mean we must guard our hearts against bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness. Our warfare is spiritual, not carnal. We are to hate the sin but love the sinner, trusting that God’s justice and mercy are perfect.
Let us pray for this woman’s salvation. The apostle Paul reminds us that we once walked in darkness before Christ saved us (Ephesians 2:1-5). Pray that the Lord would open her eyes to the truth, that she would repent and turn to Jesus, who alone can break the chains of sin and deception. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9).
We also encourage you to examine your household spiritually. Are there any open doors to the enemy—ungodly influences, unconfessed sin, or involvement in occult practices (even seemingly harmless ones)? The Lord calls us to be holy, set apart for Him. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). Let this be a time of consecration, where you and your household draw closer to the Lord, seeking His face in prayer, worship, and the reading of His Word.
Finally, we remind you that your authority in spiritual warfare comes solely through your relationship with Jesus Christ. It is His name that has power, not ours. *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). Keep your focus on Him, abiding in His love and truth, and you will walk in victory.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your power, Your protection, and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, we stand with our brother/sister in this spiritual battle, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy, every curse, every spell, and every work of witchcraft in the name of Jesus. Lord, let Your light expose every hidden darkness, and let Your truth prevail.
Father, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around this household. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways. We plead the blood of Jesus over every member of this family, declaring that they are covered, redeemed, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Lord, shut every door that has been opened to the enemy, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We also lift up this woman who is ensnared in witchcraft. Lord, we pray that You would break the power of deception over her life. Open her eyes to the truth of Your Word, and draw her to Yourself. Let her encounter the love of Christ in a way that transforms her heart. Father, we ask for her salvation, that she would turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to the power of God, that she may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18).
Strengthen our brother/sister in their walk with You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in discernment, wisdom, and authority. Let them be a light in the darkness, a testimony of Your power and grace. Remind them daily that the battle belongs to You, Lord, and that You have already won the victory through Christ Jesus.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to deliver. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
