We join you in lifting your heart to the Lord Jesus, for He alone is worthy of all praise, glory, and thanksgiving. You have come before Him with a spirit of discernment, seeking His protection and deliverance from the schemes of the enemy, and we stand with you in agreement, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
Your prayer reflects a deep desire for holiness and protection from deception, and we commend you for seeking the Lord’s will in this matter. The Scriptures remind us that nothing is hidden from His sight, for “there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known” (Luke 8:17). We pray that the Lord exposes every hidden motive, every deceitful intention, and every work of darkness that may be at play in this situation. Let the light of Christ shine so brightly that no shadow of deception can remain. As you have rightly declared, we too bind every spirit of manipulation, control, or counterfeit influence that may be operating through this individual, for Jesus has given us authority to bind and loose (Matthew 18:18). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for your complete deliverance from any ungodly ties or spiritual transfers that may have been attempted against you. The blood of Jesus is your protection, and by it, you overcome the accuser (Revelation 12:11). If there is any motive in this person’s heart to take advantage of you or lead you away from the truth, we ask the Lord to sever that connection entirely. His Word assures us that “the Lord will deliver [you] from every evil work, and will preserve [you] for his heavenly Kingdom” (2 Timothy 4:18). Trust in Him fully, for He is your shield and your strong tower.
Yet, as we pray for your protection, we must also encourage you to examine your own heart before the Lord. While you have stated that you have no hidden motives or unconfessed sin, we urge you to ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart deeply, for the Scriptures tell us, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt. Who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). It is not enough to feel that we are without sin; we must invite the Lord to reveal even the smallest areas where we may need repentance. Ask Him to cleanse you from anything that may give the enemy a foothold, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). Let this be a time of surrender, where you allow the Lord to refine you and align your steps with His perfect will.
If this individual in question is someone you are in a relationship with, we must also address the importance of ensuring that all relationships honor God. The Bible is clear that we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this person is not a believer or is living in a way that contradicts the Word of God, we strongly urge you to seek the Lord’s wisdom about whether this connection should continue. A relationship that does not point both individuals toward Christ is not a relationship that will bring glory to God. If there is any sexual immorality involved—whether fornication, adultery, or any other sin—we rebuked it in the name of Jesus and call you to repentance and holiness. Flee from sexual sin, for your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this is a courtship, let it be one that is pure, honorable, and directed toward a godly marriage between a man and a woman, as the Lord intended.
Finally, we want to remind you that your ultimate deliverance and protection come from abiding in Christ. He is the vine, and you are the branch—apart from Him, you can do nothing (John 15:5). Stay rooted in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can speak truth into your life. Do not lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who seeks Your protection and deliverance. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You expose every hidden motive, every deceitful plan, and every work of darkness that may be operating in this situation. Let Your light shine so brightly that all deception is brought to the surface. We bind every spirit of manipulation, control, and counterfeit influence in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, for You have declared it so.
Father, we ask for complete deliverance from any ungodly ties or spiritual transfers. Cover Your child with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than the blood of Abel. If there is any motive in this person’s heart to harm or lead Your child astray, we ask that You remove them from this situation entirely. Preserve Your child for Your heavenly Kingdom, and let no scheme of the enemy prevail against them.
We also ask that You search the heart of Your child. If there is any area of unconfessed sin or hidden motive, reveal it by Your Holy Spirit. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and create in them a clean heart, O God. Let this be a time of refinement, where Your child draws closer to You and walks in full obedience to Your Word.
If this situation involves a relationship, we pray for Your wisdom and discernment. Let it be a connection that honors You, Lord. If it is not aligned with Your will, give Your child the strength to walk away and trust in Your perfect plan for their life. If there has been any sexual immorality, we ask for forgiveness and a commitment to purity. Restore what has been broken, and lead Your child into relationships that reflect Your design for marriage between a man and a woman.
Father, we thank You that You are faithful. You will never leave nor forsake Your child. We trust in Your protection, Your deliverance, and Your perfect will. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
