We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for deliverance, standing firmly on the truth that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Your prayer is rooted in scripture, and we commend you for standing on the promises of God’s Word, for it is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).
The hatred and intimidation you describe are not of God, for perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we are called to love one another as Christ has loved us (John 13:34). The bitterness and strife in your aunt’s heart are tools of the enemy to bring division, but we know that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). You have rightly claimed Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *“Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?”* Indeed, the Lord has plucked you and your household out of the fire of strife, and He will not allow the enemy to prevail.
We stand with you on John 8:36, declaring that if the Son has set you free, you are free indeed! The chains of bitterness, hatred, and intimidation are broken in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against you or your household shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and your righteousness is of Him.
As for the restoration of what has been attacked or stolen, we claim Isaiah 61:7 with you: *“Instead of your shame you shall have double. Instead of dishonor, they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double. Everlasting joy shall be to them.”* The Lord is faithful to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and He will turn the curses meant for harm into blessings for His glory. We also encourage you to forgive your aunt, not because her actions are justified, but because forgiveness releases you from the bondage of resentment and aligns your heart with Christ’s command to love and pray for those who persecute you (Matthew 5:44). Forgiveness does not mean excusing her behavior, but it means trusting God to handle the justice while you walk in freedom.
We also want to remind you of the power of speaking life over your household. Proverbs 18:21 tells us that *“Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit.”* Continue to declare God’s promises over your family, for your words have authority in the spiritual realm when aligned with Scripture. Speak peace, restoration, and unity over your home, and watch as the Lord brings it to pass.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her household. Lord, we ask that You humble the heart of her aunt, breaking every stronghold of hatred, bitterness, and strife. Soften her heart, Lord, and let Your love penetrate the hardness that has taken root. We rebuke every spirit of intimidation and fear sent against our sister and her family, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, we ask that You dismantle every scheme of the enemy and render his plans powerless.
Father, we pray for restoration—restore what has been broken, restore what has been stolen, and restore the joy that comes from You. Let double honor and everlasting joy be their portion, as You turn their mourning into dancing. Give our sister the strength to forgive, even as You have forgiven her, and let her heart be guarded by Your peace, which surpasses all understanding.
We declare freedom over her household in the name of Jesus. Break every chain, Lord, and let Your light shine into every dark place. Fill their home with Your presence, and let Your love be the foundation that cannot be shaken. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, and we trust that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is fighting this battle on your behalf. You are not alone—we stand with you in prayer and agreement, believing for God’s victory in your life.
