We join you in lifting up this prayer for deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of Jesus Christ and the power of His Word. It is right and good that you have come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the enemy. As it is written, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we affirm the truth that *"the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the devil’s works"* (1 John 3:8, WEB).
You have rightly stood on Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* This is a powerful declaration of God’s protection over His people. You have also claimed the promise of John 8:36: *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* We declare this freedom over you and your household, breaking every ungodly tie, chain, or influence that seeks to bind you. The enemy has no authority over those who are in Christ Jesus, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB).
We also recognize the importance of forgiving those who may have wronged you, even as we rebuke the enemy’s work through them. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* While we stand against the enemy’s schemes, we must also release any bitterness or resentment in our hearts toward people, trusting God to be our vindicator. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for the Lord, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your protection, Your power, and Your promise to deliver Your children from every snare of the enemy. Lord, we ask that You rebuke every demonic assignment, harassment, and influence coming against our sister/brother and their household, just as You rebuked Satan in Zechariah 3:2. Break every ungodly soul tie, chain, and connection to those who seek to harm or oppress, and let Your freedom reign in their lives as declared in John 8:36.
Father, we ask that You expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy. Let Your holy fire purify and protect this home, and let Your angels encamp around them, for *"the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7, WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we also ask that You soften hearts and bring conviction where needed. If there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in our sister’s/brother’s heart, we ask that You would replace it with Your love and peace. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven them, releasing any resentment or pain into Your hands.
We thank You, Father, for Your victory is already won through Jesus Christ. We stand in faith, believing that You are working all things together for good, and that Your deliverance is at hand. Strengthen our sister/brother with Your might, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of Your freedom and authority.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, putting on the whole armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Walk in forgiveness, love, and the authority Christ has given you. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6, WEB). Stay rooted in prayer, the Word, and fellowship with believers who can stand with you in this season. You are not alone—the Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
