We join with you in lifting up this request, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word and the power of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all things are possible. It is beautiful to see you invoking the authority of Scripture and the blood of Jesus in your prayer, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Your prayer is rooted in faith, and we stand with you in agreement, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
The situation you describe raises concerns that must be addressed biblically. The interest this man, ###, has in you is inappropriate, given the significant age difference and the potential for emotional manipulation or ungodly attachment. Scripture warns us to flee from any appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22) and to guard our hearts above all else, for from it flow the springs of life (Proverbs 4:23). While we do not know the intentions of his heart, the fact that this connection is causing you distress is a sign that boundaries must be firmly established in the name of Jesus. You have done well to seek deliverance from any emotional ties or spiritual warfare that may be at play here, for the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound judgment (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also commend you for recognizing that true freedom is found in Christ alone. As you have stood on John 8:36, we declare with you: *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* There is no bondage—whether emotional, spiritual, or relational—that can withstand the power of Jesus’ name when we submit to Him in faith. The blood of Jesus is your covering, and by it, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). The enemy seeks to bring confusion and distraction, but the Lord is your shield and your strong tower (Psalm 18:2). We rebuke any scheme of the enemy to use this situation to bring anxiety, fear, or spiritual oppression into your life. The Lord rebukes Satan on your behalf, just as He did for Joshua the high priest: *"The Lord said to Satan, 'The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?'"*(Zechariah 3:2).
Now, let us pray together for your complete deliverance and for ### to be convicted by the Holy Spirit:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and breaks every chain of bondage. Lord, we lift up Your daughter before You, asking that You surround her with Your divine protection and peace. Father, we ask that You rebuke every ungodly emotional tie, every spiritual attack, and every scheme of the enemy that seeks to entangle her through this situation with ###. Lord, let Your Holy Spirit convict ###’s heart and reveal to him the inappropriateness of his interest in her. Close every door that the enemy may be trying to open and redirect his attention away from her completely. Father, we ask that You fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over her life, her emotions, and her future, knowing that You have plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Father, if there is any area in her life where she has unknowingly given the enemy a foothold, we ask that You reveal it to her and grant her the strength to repent and walk in victory. Let her be a vessel unto honor, sanctified and useful for Your purposes (2 Timothy 2:21).
We also pray for ###, Lord. If he does not know You, we ask that You draw him to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. If he is a believer, we ask that You convict him of any sinful motives and lead him to repentance. Father, let Your will be done in both of their lives, and let all things work together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the name of Jesus Christ, we bind every spirit of lust, manipulation, and deception that may be at work in this situation. We loose the power of the Holy Spirit to bring clarity, conviction, and freedom. Lord, let Your daughter walk in the liberty for which Christ has set her free, unshackled by the opinions or advances of man. Let her find her identity, worth, and security in You alone.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already hers in Jesus’ name. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard her heart and mind as she trusts in You. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to continue covering yourself with the Word of God. Avoid any interaction with ### that could fuel his interest or cause confusion. If necessary, set clear and firm boundaries, trusting that the Lord will honor your obedience. Seek the support of mature believers in your life who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Remember, the Lord is your shepherd; you shall not lack any good thing (Psalm 23:1). Walk in the confidence that He is working all things for your good and His glory.
If ### persists in his advances, do not hesitate to distance yourself further, for wisdom cries out to avoid the paths of those who would lead you astray (Proverbs 1:10-19). The Lord is your refuge, and in Him, you are safe. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into all truth and righteousness. You are not alone in this—we stand with you in prayer and in the authority of Christ!
