Deliverance Prayer

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus, I ask for deliverance for my aunt ###, that went astray with a married man, that she was living with in adultery, lord Jesus heal all the brokenness. May she find repentance and forgiveness, may she also forgive the reasons that may have pushed her to such actions. Lord Jesus may my aunt ### heal from not being able to have her own family and kids, show her a way to heal her pain and discouragement in relation, may the lord restore her, standing on Isaiah 61:7. May the lord shine his light upon her and be gracious to her. Lord Jesus rescue her from the plan of the enemy to place her in that bad situation, standing on 2 Timothy 4:18. Lord Jesus cover her with the blood of Jesus that washes away sin, standing on Revelations 12:11. Call ### to you Lord Jesus and may she find a way to escape to your salvation from all the bondage that the devil has her in, may she find a way to leave that living situation, standing on Jeremiah 12:14. May all of ###’s chains be broken, and that she may be able to give testimony of her salvation. Lord Jesus I ask that you close the doors to ### that the devil has opened. And, Lord open new doors that may give her hope and comfort. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your aunt before the Lord, standing in agreement with your heartfelt plea for her deliverance, repentance, and restoration. Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we commend you for standing in the gap for her with such faith and persistence. The Lord hears your cries, and we trust He is already at work in her life, drawing her to Himself with everlasting love.

The path your aunt has walked—living in adultery with a married man—is one that grieves the heart of God, for it is a direct violation of His holy design for marriage and purity. The Word of God is clear: *"You shall not commit adultery"* (Exodus 20:14, WEB) and *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). Adultery brings brokenness not only to those directly involved but also to families, communities, and most importantly, to one’s relationship with the Lord. Yet even in this, we take hope, for God’s mercy is greater than our sin. The apostle John reminds us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Repentance is the door to freedom, and we pray your aunt will walk through it without delay.

You’ve rightly identified the deep wounds in her heart—the longing for a family and children of her own, the pain that may have driven her toward this sinful relationship. The enemy often exploits our unmet desires and past hurts to lead us into bondage, but the Lord is the healer of broken hearts. As you’ve stood on Isaiah 61:7, we declare over her: *"Instead of your shame you shall have double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double. Everlasting joy shall be to them."* The Lord sees her pain, and He is able to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). His plans for her are not for harm but for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also stand with you in rebuking the enemy’s hold over her life. The Scripture you’ve claimed in 2 Timothy 4:18 assures us that *"The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom."* The blood of Jesus is indeed the power that breaks every chain (Revelation 12:11), and we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is her refuge, and He will provide a way of escape from this sinful situation (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray she will take hold of that escape, even if it requires difficult steps—leaving the relationship, seeking accountability, and turning fully to Christ.

Yet we must also address the married man in this situation. His actions are an abomination before God, and unless he repents, he too remains under judgment. Adultery is a grievous sin that defiles not only the individuals involved but also the sacred covenant of marriage. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him deeply, that he would turn from his wickedness and seek forgiveness from God and his wife. If he is a believer, we pray the church would hold him accountable (Matthew 18:15-17). If he is not, we pray the Lord would open his eyes to his need for salvation, for *"the sexually immoral... will not inherit the Kingdom of God"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). There is no true joy or fulfillment outside of obedience to Christ.

As you intercede for your aunt, we encourage you to continue covering her in prayer, but also to speak truth in love if the Lord opens a door for you to share with her directly. Sometimes those trapped in sin need a loving but firm rebuke to awaken them to their need for repentance. Jesus Himself said, *"If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother"* (Matthew 18:15, WEB). This may require wisdom and courage, but the Holy Spirit will guide you.

We also urge you to remind her—and yourself—that true fulfillment is found in Christ alone, not in earthly relationships or family status. Jesus said, *"Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life"* (Matthew 19:29, WEB). If the Lord has not granted her a husband or children, it is not because He withholds good from her, but because His plans for her are higher. He may be calling her to a life of singular devotion to Him, or He may yet bring a godly spouse into her life in His perfect timing. Either way, her identity and worth are found in being His beloved daughter.

Now, let us pray together for her deliverance and restoration:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken yet hopeful hearts, lifting up our sister’s ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the depths of her sin and the depths of her pain, and You alone can heal and restore her. We ask that You would break the chains of adultery and bondage that have held her captive. Convict her heart by Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and lead her to true repentance. Let her turn away from this sinful relationship and flee to the cross of Christ, where mercy and forgiveness flow.

Father, heal the wounds in her heart—the longing for family, the disappointment, the loneliness. Fill those empty places with Your love, Lord, and let her find her satisfaction in You alone. Remind her that You are a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the weak (Psalm 68:5). If it is Your will, Lord, bring godly community around her—believers who will walk with her in accountability, encouragement, and prayer. If she has strayed from the church, draw her back, Lord, for *"two are better than one... and a threefold cord is not quickly broken"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9, 12, WEB).

We also pray for the married man involved in this sin. Lord, expose his deeds and bring him to repentance. If he is a believer, let the weight of his sin crush him until he turns back to You. If he is not, Lord, save him! Let this be the moment You open his eyes to his need for a Savior. Restore his marriage, Lord, if it is Your will, and let him seek forgiveness from his wife and from You.

Lord, we ask that You would close every door the enemy has opened in her life—doors of deception, lust, and rebellion. Shut them firmly, Lord, and open new doors of hope, purity, and purpose. Give her the strength to walk away from this relationship, even if it means facing temporary loneliness or hardship. Let her trust You as her Provider and Protector.

We declare that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against her (Job 5:12). By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, every stronghold, and every lie that has kept her bound. Let her be a testimony of Your redeeming power, Lord, that others may see her transformation and give glory to Your name.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your angels, protecting her from the enemy’s retaliation as she seeks to walk in obedience. Give her a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You (Ephesians 1:17), that she may see herself as You see her—redeemed, loved, and called to holiness.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save and deliver. Amen.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer for your aunt’s deliverance. Keep trusting the Lord, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The battle is the Lord’s, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in her (Philippians 1:6). If you have the opportunity to share the gospel with her or to remind her of God’s love and holiness, do so with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15). The Lord may use you as an instrument of her restoration. Stay encouraged, and let us know how we can continue to pray.
