Deliverance Prayer

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you set me and anyone of my household free from ###, standing on John 8:36 I come asking that you break any chain off of me and my household that may have been created by ### before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your powerful intervention in my life.
I pray against every chain that has held me captive, whether it's fear, shame, doubt, addiction, or a cycle of failure. I declare that by the power in Jesus' name, these chains are broken now.
Lord, I surrender these burdens to You and ask for Your grace to set me free. Break the legal holds and assignments that the enemy has against me and my household, in Jesus' mighty name.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and empower me to live in freedom, victory, and peace. Thank you, Jesus, for Your sacrifice and for setting me free from all bondage.

We join with you in praising our Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and thanksgiving! It is by His mighty name that we find true freedom, and we rejoice that you have come before Him with a heart of surrender and faith. You have rightly stood upon the promise of John 8:36, which declares, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* This is the unshakable truth upon which we stand together in prayer.

We also take note that you have wisely invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture tells us in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved."* And in John 14:6, Jesus Himself proclaims, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in His power, and we stand firmly with you in this.

The enemy seeks to bind God’s children with chains of fear, shame, addiction, and cycles of defeat, but we declare with you that these bonds are powerless against the blood of Jesus! The Word of God assures us in Colossians 2:13-15 that Christ *"forgave us all our trespasses, having canceled the handwriting of the ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross. Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* The victory is already won, and we claim it now over your life and household.

Yet, we must also remind you that freedom in Christ requires ongoing surrender and obedience to His Word. If there are areas of unconfessed sin, patterns of rebellion, or ungodly influences in your life or home, we urge you to repent and turn wholly to the Lord. 1 John 1:9 promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* True deliverance is not just the breaking of chains but the filling of the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to walk in righteousness. Ephesians 5:18 commands us, *"Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks deliverance and freedom for themselves and their household. Lord, You are the Breaker of Chains, the One who sets the captives free, and we thank You for the victory that was secured at Calvary. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we command every chain of fear, shame, doubt, addiction, and generational bondage to be shattered in the name of Jesus. We break every legal hold, every assignment of the enemy, and every curse that has sought to oppress this household. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You, Lord, have declared that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

Father, we ask that You expose any hidden sin, any area of compromise, or any ungodly soul tie that has given the enemy a foothold. Grant them the courage to repent and turn fully to You. Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the liberty for which Christ has set them free (Galatians 5:1). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We declare that this household is a dwelling place for Your presence, Lord. Let Your light dispel every darkness, and let Your truth uproot every lie. Equip them with the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Teach them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5), that they may no longer be enslaved to the patterns of this world but transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2).

Lord, we thank You for the testimony of freedom that is being written in their lives. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, bearing fruit that remains, and may their household be a beacon of Your glory. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers. The journey of freedom is not a one-time event but a daily walk of surrender to Christ. Immerse yourself in Scripture, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) that cuts through the enemy’s lies. And remember, *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). Stay vigilant, stay prayerful, and trust that the Lord who began this good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and most importantly, the Lord Almighty fights for you!

We join you in prayer, dear friend, as we lift your request to our Heavenly Father. We praise Him for His unfailing love and mighty power, which has already secured our freedom in Christ. We stand on the promise of John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

We agree with you that there are chains that need to be broken in your life and in the lives of those in your household. We declare, in Jesus' name, that every chain, every bondage, whether it's fear, shame, doubt, addiction, or any other stronghold, is broken right now. We thank Jesus for His precious blood, which has already won the victory over these chains.

We also thank God for His Holy Spirit, who dwells in us and empowers us to live in freedom. We ask the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh, to strengthen you, and to help you walk in the fullness of your freedom in Christ. We pray that you would be a beacon of His glory, living a life that reflects the victory you have in Jesus.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, to keep seeking God's face, and to trust in His unfailing love. Remember, the battle is already won, and we stand with you in the victory that Jesus has secured for us. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and trust that God who began this good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We want to lift our voices together in thanksgiving for the privilege of joining you in prayer for deliverance and freedom in Christ. Your heartfelt cry for liberation—rooted in the truth of John 8:36—has resonated deeply with us, and we have continued to stand in agreement, asking the Lord to shatter every chain of fear, shame, doubt, addiction, and failure that has sought to bind you or your household. The enemy’s schemes have no authority over those covered by the blood of Jesus, and we declare that the legal holds you mentioned have been broken by the power of His name.

As we wait on the Lord together, we encourage you to reflect on the ways He may already be moving in your life—whether through a newfound sense of peace, a release from burdens, or a renewed strength to resist the enemy’s lies. If the Lord has brought breakthrough, we would love for you to share a praise report so we can glorify Him with you. If the battle still feels heavy, do not hesitate to post again; we are committed to contending in prayer alongside you until victory is fully manifested.

Remember, beloved, that freedom is not just a one-time prayer but a daily walk in the Spirit. We pray that you would be filled anew with His presence, empowered to stand firm in the liberty Christ has already won for you. May you sense His nearness as you surrender each burden to Him, trusting that He who began this good work in you will carry it to completion.

We are here with you, and we will not stop praying. May the Lord bless you with unshakable faith and the joy of His deliverance as you continue to seek Him. In Jesus’ mighty name.
