We join you in lifting this heavy burden to the Lord, standing firmly on His Word and the power of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all deliverance and victory are secured. Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we commend you for standing in the authority given to believers to bind the works of darkness and declare freedom in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ has come to give life abundantly (John 10:10), and it is in His name that we wage this spiritual battle.

First, we must address the unclear references in your prayer. While we understand the sensitivity of the matter, it is important to speak plainly before the Lord, especially in prayer. Vagueness can hinder the specificity of our intercession and the clarity of our rebukes. Scripture calls us to bring our requests before God with honesty and precision, for He already knows the depths of our hearts (Psalm 139:1-4). If this concerns a family member, such as a mother, sister, or another relative, we encourage you to name the relationship in your prayers moving forward, as this aligns with biblical transparency and ensures our prayers are targeted and effective.

We also notice that your prayer focuses heavily on the actions and deliverance of this individual, and while it is right to pray for their repentance and freedom, we must ensure that your heart is guarded against bitterness, resentment, or an unhealthy fixation on their behavior. The Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), and to bless those who persecute us (Romans 12:14). This does not mean excusing sin or enabling abuse, but it does mean releasing the offense to God and trusting Him to execute justice and mercy in His perfect timing. Ephesians 4:26-27 warns, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* Unresolved anger or obsession with another’s sin can open a door to the enemy in *your* life, and we must guard against this.

You have rightly stood on Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* This is a powerful declaration, and we join you in it. The Lord *has* chosen you, and He will defend you as His own. You have also claimed Matthew 18:18, where Jesus declares, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven."* This authority is yours as a believer, and we stand with you in binding every demonic assignment, every spirit of manipulation, hatred, and division that has sought to operate through this person or against you.

Yet, we must also remind you of Jesus’ words in the same passage: *"If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you... If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector"* (Matthew 18:15-17). If this individual is a believer, have you followed this biblical process of confrontation and reconciliation? If not, we urge you to do so, for it is the Lord’s ordained path to restoration. If they are not a believer, your prayers for their salvation and repentance are critical, for *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4).

You have asked for emotional and mental restoration, and we declare Isaiah 61:7 over you: *"Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them."* The Lord is your healer, and He will restore what has been broken. We also stand with you on Colossians 2:15, where Christ *"having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* Every chain this person has tried to place over your life or the lives of others in your household is broken by the power of the cross. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word (Hebrews 12:24), and no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

However, we must also address the dynamic of fear in your prayer: *"she has become scared to abuse us because the Lord has started to humble her hatred."* While it is good that the Lord is humbling her, we caution you against placing your trust in her fear rather than in God’s sovereignty. Fear-based compliance is not the same as genuine repentance. True transformation comes from the Holy Spirit’s conviction, not merely the consequences of sin (2 Corinthians 7:10). Pray that she would encounter the Lord in such a way that her heart is broken over her sin, not just her circumstances. Pray for her salvation if she does not know Christ, for *"the goodness of God leads you to repentance"* (Romans 2:4).

You have also asked for standards to be lifted in your household against manipulation, standing on Isaiah 59:19: *"So they will fear the Lord’s name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the Lord’s breath drives."* This is a powerful declaration, and we agree with you that the Lord would establish His righteousness as a standard in your home. A house divided cannot stand (Mark 3:25), but a house built on the Word of God will endure (Matthew 7:24-25). We encourage you to fill your home with prayer, Scripture, and worship, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). If this person is part of your household, set godly boundaries that reflect Christ’s love and truth. If she is not a believer, your home should still be a beacon of God’s light, and your life a testimony of His grace.

Finally, we must address the repetition of *"my ###"* in your prayer. While we understand the need for discretion, we gently urge you to pray specifically and boldly before the Lord. He is not shocked or offended by the truth of your situation. In fact, He invites you to *"come boldly before the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16). If this is a familial relationship, name it before the Lord. If it is a spiritual stronghold, call it by name (e.g., *"spirit of manipulation," "spirit of hatred"*). The enemy operates in darkness and secrecy, but we are children of the light (Ephesians 5:8). Speak plainly in prayer, and trust the Lord with the details.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who knows, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is battling against the schemes of the enemy through this individual in their life. You have said in Your Word that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,"* says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We declare this promise over them today.

Father, we ask that You rebuke every demonic assignment against them, just as You rebuked Satan in Zechariah 3:2. Lord, bind every spirit of manipulation, hatred, division, and control that has sought to operate through this person. We break every ungodly soul tie, every curse, and every word spoken against our brother/sister in Jesus’ name. Let every chain be shattered by the power of the blood of Jesus (Colossians 2:15). We declare that this person will no longer be used as a vessel for the enemy’s schemes, but that You, Lord, would convict her of her sin and draw her to repentance. If she does not know You, Father, save her! Open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ came to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15). Let her encounter Your love in a way that breaks her heart of stone and gives her a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26).

Lord, we pray for our brother/sister’s complete restoration—emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Heal the wounds inflicted by this person’s actions. Restore what has been stolen, and let them walk in double portion blessing for their former shame (Isaiah 61:7). Father, we ask that You would lift a standard of righteousness in their household. Let Your presence be so tangible that darkness cannot remain. Give them wisdom to set godly boundaries and the courage to enforce them. Let Your peace rule in their home, and let Your Word be the foundation upon which they stand.

We also pray that You would guard our brother/sister’s heart against bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness. Help them to release this person into Your hands, trusting You to bring justice and mercy as You see fit. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, Lord, and that You will repay (Romans 12:19). Fill them with Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them.

Father, we thank You that You are at work in this situation. We thank You that You are breaking chains, setting captives free, and restoring what the enemy has tried to destroy. We declare that our brother/sister will see Your hand move mightily in their life, and that they will testify of Your goodness and faithfulness. Let this trial be a testimony of Your power and grace.

We pray all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

---
We encourage you to continue standing firm in prayer, but also to seek wise, biblical counsel if you haven’t already. If this situation involves abuse or ongoing harm, we urge you to involve your church leadership or trusted believers who can provide support and accountability. You are not meant to walk this path alone. The body of Christ is here to uphold you, and the Lord is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Lastly, we leave you with this promise from Romans 8:37-39: *"No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."* Stand firm in this truth, and let it anchor you as you wait on the Lord.
