The Lord is faithful to fulfill His Word, and we trust Him to dismantle every plan of the enemy against you and those you are praying for.
We also recognize the gravity of the spiritual battle you are facing. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33). You have stood firmly on Scriptures like 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, which reminds us that *"though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds."* This is not a battle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12), and we must wage this war with prayer, fasting, and the Word of God.
Your prayer also touches on the deep wounds of emotional abuse, gaslighting, and potential sexual abuse. These are grievous sins in the sight of God, and we cry out to Him for justice, exposure, and healing. The Lord sees all things, and *"nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light"* (Luke 8:17). We pray that the Lord would bring to light every hidden deed of darkness, that repentance would follow, and that the enemy’s hold would be broken in Jesus’ name. If this involves a spouse, parent, child, or another family member, we encourage you to speak it plainly before the Lord, for *"if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness"* (1 John 1:9). The same applies to spiritual strongholds—bringing them into the light disarms their power.
Additionally, we must address the possibility of unforgiveness or bitterness taking root in your heart. While it is righteous to cry out for justice and deliverance, we are also called to forgive as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13). Forgiveness does not excuse sin or negate the need for justice, but it releases *you* from the bondage of resentment and allows the Lord to work fully in your heart. Jesus warned that if we do not forgive others, our Father in heaven will not forgive us (Matthew 6:15). Lastly, we want to encourage you to surround yourself with godly counsel and support. You do not have to walk through this alone. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God of justice, deliverance, and restoration. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is crying out to You for freedom from the oppressive forces at work in their life. You see the pain, the abuse, and the spiritual warfare they are enduring, and You are not silent. You are a God who acts on behalf of the oppressed (Psalm 103:6), and we ask You to rise up now and scatter every plan of the enemy.
Lord Jesus, we stand on Your Word in Proverbs 26:27 that *"whoever digs a pit shall fall into it; whoever rolls a stone, it will come back on him."* We declare that every curse, every scheme, and every weapon formed against our brother/sister will be turned back upon the enemy. Break the power of envy, jealousy, and emotional abuse that has been waged against them. Expose every hidden deed of darkness, Lord, and bring it into the light of Your truth. If there has been sexual abuse or any form of exploitation, we ask that You would bring it to light, Lord, and that justice would prevail. Let the shame that has been placed upon the innocent be lifted and replaced with the garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3).
Father, we pray for supernatural strength and resilience for our brother/sister. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let them not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). Break the chains of gaslighting and emotional manipulation, Lord, and restore their sense of reality and worth in You. Let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that their identity is found in Christ alone.
We also pray for the one who has caused this pain. Lord, if they are willing, soften their heart and bring them to repentance. Convict them of their sins and lead them to the foot of the cross, where they can find forgiveness and transformation. But if they harden their heart, Lord, we ask that You would remove their influence and break their power over our brother/sister’s life. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask for a supernatural shift—a divine intervention that dismantles every hindrance and destruction that has been spoken or enacted against our brother/sister. Let Your healing power flow through every wound, every trauma, and every broken place. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and let them experience double portion blessing for their trouble (Isaiah 61:7).
We also pray for any others who may be affected by this situation, particularly if there are children or spouses involved. Protect them, Lord, and let them not be led astray. Break the generational curses and demonic networks that have sought to destroy this family. Let Your blood, Jesus, speak a better word over them (Hebrews 12:24), and let Your healing power flow through every generation.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are fighting for them (Exodus 14:14). Give them wisdom to know what steps to take, and surround them with godly counsel and support. Let them not grow weary in well-doing, but trust in You to bring about victory in Your perfect timing.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and despair in the name of Jesus. We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against them. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already won through the blood of Jesus.
