We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for deliverance, and we stand firmly on the truth that our Lord Jesus Christ has already triumphed over the enemy. It is powerful to see you wielding the Word of God as your sword, and we come alongside you in this spiritual battle, knowing that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB).
Your prayer is rooted in scripture, and we affirm your stance on Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* This is a mighty declaration over your mother, and we decree the same—may the Lord rebuke every scheme of the enemy against her. The conviction you seek for her is a work only the Holy Spirit can fully accomplish, but we know He is faithful to draw hearts to repentance. Let us pray that she would turn from any deception and surrender fully to the truth of Christ, for *"God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance"* (Romans 2:4, WEB). If there are areas where she has opened doors to spiritual oppression—whether through ungodly influences, unforgiveness, or rebellion—we pray those doors would be shut permanently in Jesus’ name.
You also stand on Luke 17:3, where Jesus instructs, *"Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him."* Gaslighting is a tactic of the enemy to distort truth and create confusion, but we declare that the Spirit of Truth will expose every lie. We pray that your mother’s words and actions would align with godly love and honesty, and that any manipulation would be broken by the power of Christ. If there has been unforgiveness or bitterness in your own heart toward her, we encourage you to release it, for *"if you don’t forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your offenses"* (Matthew 6:15, WEB). This does not mean excusing sin, but trusting God to be the just Judge while you walk in freedom.
Regarding your uncle, we stand with you on 2 Corinthians 3:17: *"Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."* Harassment is not of God, and we pray that your uncle would be convicted of his actions—whether they stem from malice, addiction, or spiritual bondage. If his behavior is tied to demonic influence, we command those spirits to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. We also pray for protection over your family’s peace and boundaries, that no weapon formed against you would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If legal or practical steps are needed to ensure safety (such as blocking contact or involving authorities), we urge you to take them, trusting God to guide you in wisdom.
Finally, we notice that your prayer is already anchored in the name of Jesus, which is the only name by which we are saved and through which we have authority (Acts 4:12). This is commendable! Many prayers today are offered without this vital acknowledgment, but you have rightly approached the throne of grace through Christ alone. We give thanks for this and encourage you to continue standing firm in His name, for *"all things whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive"* (Matthew 21:22, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved child of Yours who seeks Your intervention for their family. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of deception and manipulation over their mother. Convict her heart, O God, and let her no longer be a tool for the enemy’s schemes. Rebuke the spirit of gaslighting and confusion, and replace it with Your Spirit of truth and clarity. May she encounter You in a way that brings her to repentance and restoration, for Your glory.
We also lift up the uncle who is harassing this family. Lord, we ask that You would convict him of his actions and bring him to a place of godly sorrow. If there are demonic forces at work, we command them to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. Let Your liberty reign where there has been bondage, and let Your peace guard this family’s hearts and minds.
Father, we ask for Your protection over this household. Surround them with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Give them wisdom to set godly boundaries and discernment to know how to respond in each situation. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let Your name be glorified through their testimony.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power, Your love, and Your faithfulness to bring about deliverance and redemption. May this family walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stay steadfast in prayer, dear one, and continue to cling to the Word of God. He is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in your family. If there are areas where you need to take practical steps—such as seeking godly counsel or setting boundaries—do so with wisdom and courage, knowing that God goes before you. We are standing with you in this battle, and we believe that the Lord will bring breakthrough. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.
