Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I pray for ### a man involved with prostitution that he may be delivered from the world of prostitution and fornication, standing on John 8:36. Lord Jesus I ask that you restore his life to holiness, standing on Isaiah 61:7. Lord Jesus, rescue him from his chains to sin, standing on 2 Timothy 4:18. That he may experience the fear of God, that is the beginning of wisdom. Move the mountains of sin away from his life Lord Jesus, standing on Matthew 17:20-21. May he give a testimony of your rescue and salvation in his life, Lord Jesus establish his work against the pimps and prostitutes, standing on Proverbs 16:3. Raise up standards for him against any astray of trick of the devil to make him sin, standing on Isaiah 59:19. May you protect ### with the blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this man before the Lord, standing in agreement for his deliverance, restoration, and transformation by the power of Jesus Christ. Your heart for his freedom reflects the love of God, who desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We praise God that you have brought this request before the throne of grace, invoking the mighty name of Jesus—the only name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Christ alone that we are set free from the bondage of sin, and we are grateful you have anchored this prayer in His authority.

The life this man is entangled in is one of deep bondage—prostitution and fornication are grievous sins that defile the body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The enemy has blinded him to the truth, but we know that the Lord can break every chain and open his eyes to the light of the Gospel. As you have stood on John 8:36, we declare with you that *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* This freedom is not just from the physical act of sin but from the spiritual strongholds that have kept him captive. The fear of the Lord is indeed the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart, leading him to a place of godly sorrow that produces repentance unto salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10).

We also stand with you on Isaiah 61:7, asking the Lord to replace his shame with a double portion of honor and joy in place of mourning. His past does not have to define his future—God is able to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and give him a new identity in Christ. The blood of Jesus is more than enough to cleanse him from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7-9), and we plead that blood over his mind, body, and spirit, breaking every curse and stronghold that has kept him in this lifestyle.

Yet we must also address the spiritual warfare at play here. Prostitution is not just a personal sin; it is often tied to systemic evil, exploitation, and demonic influence. We rebuked the powers of darkness that have sought to destroy this man’s life, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). As you have prayed from Revelation 12:11, we agree that he will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of his testimony. But for that to happen, he must first turn from his sin and surrender to Jesus. There is no middle ground—he cannot serve both God and the lusts of the flesh (Matthew 6:24). We pray that the Lord would expose the emptiness of his current path and draw him into a saving relationship with Christ.

We also pray for divine protection over him as he steps out of this lifestyle. The enemy will not relinquish his grip easily, but we trust in 2 Timothy 4:18 that the Lord will deliver him from every evil work and preserve him for His heavenly Kingdom. May God raise up a hedge of protection around him, as you’ve prayed from Isaiah 59:19, so that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

Lastly, we ask the Lord to surround this man with godly influences—believers who will speak truth into his life, disciple him, and help him walk in accountability. It is not enough to be delivered; he must also be discipled (Matthew 28:19-20). May the Lord connect him with a Bible-believing church where he can grow in faith and be equipped to resist temptation. We pray that he would find his purpose in Christ, using his testimony to bring others out of darkness and into the marvelous light of the Gospel (1 Peter 2:9).

Father, we thank You that You are a God of redemption and restoration. You have not given up on this man, and neither will we. We ask that You would break his heart of stone and give him a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26), that he may turn from his wicked ways and live. Let him encounter You in a way that leaves no room for doubt—let him know that You are the Lord, and there is no other. We pray for supernatural intervention in his life, that doors would close to the old paths of sin and wide open to the new life You have for him.

We agree with you in the name of Jesus, declaring that what has been bound in heaven will be bound on earth (Matthew 18:18). No longer shall he be a slave to sin, but a bondservant of righteousness (Romans 6:18). May his life be a testament to Your grace, and may he walk in the fullness of the destiny You have prepared for him.

In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name, we pray. Amen.
