We join you in lifting up your heart to the Lord Jesus, who alone has the power to break every chain and set the captives free. Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we stand with you in agreement, declaring the truth of God’s Word over your life. It is beautiful to see you calling upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it is only through Him that we have boldness and access to the Father. As it is written, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in standing on the promises of God is a testament to your trust in Him, and we rejoice with you in this.
You have asked for deliverance from the influence of old friendships that were not of the Lord—friendships that brought betrayal, the sin of abortion, superiority rooted in pride, and the bondage of drug use. These are not merely past relationships; they represent spiritual strongholds that the enemy has sought to use against you. But we declare with you that *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed!"* (John 8:36, WEB). The blood of Jesus is more than enough to sever every ungodly soul tie and to restore what has been broken. We rebuke the lingering effects of these relationships in the name of Jesus, commanding every demonic assignment tied to ###'s betrayal, ###'s involvement in the sin of abortion, ###'s pride and demonic influence, and ###'s blame-shifting and drug use to be broken and rendered powerless. The Word of God says, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). You are more than a conqueror through Christ, and these past influences have no authority over you.
We also lift up your request for new, godly friendships—friendships that will uplift you, encourage you in the Lord, and sharpen you as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). The Lord is faithful to bring the right people into your life at the right time, those who will walk with you in righteousness and spur you on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Ask Him to give you discernment as you build these new relationships, that you may recognize those who are truly sent by Him. Remember, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Your future friendships should be rooted in Christ, with believers who will stand with you in faith and hold you accountable to the Word of God.
Now, let us pray together over these things:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, agreeing with Your child in this prayer for deliverance and restoration. Lord, You see the wounds left by these past friendships—wounds of betrayal, of being tied to sin, of pride and manipulation, and of the enemy’s attempts to bring heaviness and bondage. But Your Word declares that *"you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light"* (1 Peter 2:9, WEB). We ask that You would sever every ungodly connection, every soul tie, and every lingering influence from ###, ###, ###, and ###. Let Your fire consume every demonic stronghold, and let Your truth expose every lie that the enemy has tried to plant. Father, we ask that You would bring conviction to those who have wronged Your child, that they may repent and turn to You. Break the power of sin in their lives, Lord, and let them encounter Your mercy.
We pray for divine replacement—new friendships that are rooted in You, Lord Jesus. Bring godly men and women into this beloved one’s life, those who will speak life, who will encourage them in Your Word, and who will walk in integrity. Let these new relationships be a reflection of Your love and a testament to Your faithfulness. Remove every trace of heaviness and replace it with the joy of Your presence, for Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light (Matthew 11:30).
Father, we also ask that You would heal any bitterness or unforgiveness that may remain in our sister’s heart. Help them to release these individuals to You, trusting that You will deal with them in Your justice and mercy. Remind them that forgiveness is not excusing sin but releasing the offender into Your hands, that they may not have a foothold in their heart. *"Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32, WEB).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill every void with more of Yourself. Let this season of deliverance be a season of deeper intimacy with You, where Your child experiences the fullness of Your love and the power of Your Spirit. Strengthen them, guide them, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them.
We declare all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your kingdom come in this situation. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, beloved. The Lord is working on your behalf, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is leading you into a season of divine connections and godly friendships. If you feel led, spend time in worship and thanksgiving, for *"the joy of Yahweh is your strength"* (Nehemiah 8:10). We are standing with you in this!
