Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke all the ways in which my aunt ### is manifesting herself to cause harm, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Lord Jesus I ask that you root out the household where my aunt lives with the married man, standing on Jeremiah 12:14. Lord Jesus I ask that you restore us from her hatred, standing on Isaiah 61:7. May this aunt ### have a deep intervention that causes her to seize her demonic actions. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this heavy burden before the Lord, standing firmly on His Word and the power of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all things are possible. Your heart for deliverance and restoration is evident, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).

First, we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have authority to rebuke the enemy and see transformation in the lives of those who are bound by sin and darkness. Your use of Scripture is powerful, and we will continue to stand on these promises with you.

You have mentioned your ###’s relationship with a married man, and we must address this directly, as it is a grievous sin before the Lord. Adultery is explicitly condemned in Scripture, for the Lord says, “You shall not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14). The Word also declares, “Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers” (Hebrews 13:4). This relationship is not only harmful to those involved but is an affront to God’s design for marriage—a covenant between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). We must pray not only for deliverance from the harm your ### is causing but also for her repentance and the repentance of the man involved. There is no peace or blessing outside of God’s will, and their actions are inviting judgment unless they turn from this sin.

We also recognize the deep pain and division that your ###’s actions have caused. Hatred and strife are tools of the enemy, meant to destroy families and separate believers from the love and unity that Christ calls us to. But we serve a God who is mighty to save and restore! As you have stood on Isaiah 61:7, we declare with you that instead of shame, your family will have a double portion, and instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their inheritance. The Lord delights in turning mourning into joy and despair into praise (Jeremiah 31:13).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears our cries and fights for Your people. Lord, we lift up this situation involving our sister’s ### and the married man she is living with. Father, we ask that You expose the darkness in their lives and bring conviction upon their hearts. Let them see the gravity of their sin and the destruction it is causing—not only to themselves but to those around them. Lord, we pray that You would break the power of sin and deception over them and draw them to repentance. May they turn from this adulterous relationship and seek Your forgiveness and restoration. There is no peace outside of Your will, and we ask that You make their paths so difficult that they have no choice but to surrender to You.

Lord Jesus, we stand with our sister against the spiritual attacks that have come through this situation. We rebuke every demonic assignment sent to harm, divide, or destroy, and we command these forces to flee in the name of Jesus. As Zechariah 3:2 declares, we say to the enemy, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?” No weapon formed against your family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You uproot the strongholds in the household where this sin is taking place. As Jeremiah 12:14 says, we pray that You would pluck up, break down, destroy, and bring to ruin those who are living in rebellion against You. Yet, Lord, we also ask that in Your mercy, You would save them. Let this be a moment of divine intervention where Your Spirit moves so powerfully that lives are transformed. Break the chains of sin, Lord, and set the captives free.

We pray for our sister’s family, that You would restore what has been stolen by the enemy’s schemes. Heal the wounds caused by hatred, division, and betrayal. Replace the spirit of heaviness with a garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we ask that You would turn this situation around for Your glory—that what the enemy meant for harm, You would use for good (Genesis 50:20).

Lord, we also pray for our sister, that You would strengthen her in this season. Clothe her with Your armor so that she may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in wisdom, discernment, and the confidence that comes from knowing You are fighting for her. Remind her that vengeance is Yours, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You are just and faithful to right every wrong in Your perfect timing.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would bring a deep and lasting intervention into our sister’s ###’s life. Break the hard places in her heart and replace them with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). Let her encounter You in such a way that she can no longer ignore Your voice. Convict her of her sin, Lord, and lead her to the foot of the cross, where she can find forgiveness and redemption. May she turn from her wicked ways and seek Your face, that she may be saved.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power to bring deliverance, restoration, and salvation. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. We pray this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Our sister, we want to encourage you to keep standing in faith, even when the battle feels long and difficult. The Lord sees your heart and your tears, and He is moving on your behalf, even when you cannot see it. Remember that our warfare is spiritual, and our weapons are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Keep praying, keep declaring the Word of God, and keep trusting that the Lord is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We also urge you to forgive your ###, not because she deserves it, but because forgiveness releases you from the bondage of bitterness and allows God to move freely in your life. Jesus said, “But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:15). Forgiveness does not mean what she has done is okay; it means you are trusting God to handle the situation His way. Ask the Lord to help you release any anger or resentment, and pray for your ###’s salvation with a heart of love.

If there are other believers in your family, we encourage you to gather with them in prayer and agreement, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20). There is power in corporate prayer, and the enemy cannot stand against the united faith of God’s people.

Lastly, we remind you that the Lord is your strength and your shield. Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is leading you to victory. We are standing with you in this, and we believe that the Lord will bring breakthrough and restoration. Be encouraged, dear sister—the battle belongs to the Lord!

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
