We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for deliverance, and we are grateful that you have invoked the mighty name of Jesus in this prayer. It is only through His name that we have authority and access to the Father, as Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your prayer is firmly rooted in the Word of God, and we stand in agreement with you, declaring the power of Christ over every stronghold, confusion, and ungodly tie that seeks to hinder this beloved one.
The enemy’s schemes are real, but we serve a God who is greater. As you have rightly declared from Zechariah 3:2, *"Yahweh said to Satan, 'Yahweh rebuke you, Satan!'"*—this is our authority in Christ. The principalities and powers that seek to oppress have already been disarmed at the cross, just as Colossians 2:15 proclaims: *"Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* We declare that every demonic assignment against this person is rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.
We also lift up their emotional and mental well-being, asking the Lord to heal every wound, every trauma, and every broken place. Isaiah 61:7 reminds us that instead of shame, they shall have double honor, and instead of confusion, they shall rejoice in their portion. May the Lord replace every lie of the enemy with His truth, every fear with His perfect love, and every bondage with the freedom that Christ has purchased. As 2 Corinthians 3:17 declares, *"Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."* We pray that the Spirit of the Lord would flood their heart and mind, bringing clarity, peace, and a deep sense of His presence.
If there are ungodly soul ties—whether through past relationships, generational curses, or any other means—we declare them broken in the name of Jesus. John 8:36 assures us, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their life, severing every unholy connection and establishing godly, life-giving relationships that honor the Lord. Familiar spirits have no place in the life of a believer, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name, as Revelation 12:11 reminds us that we overcome *"by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony."*
We also pray for divine establishment in their life. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* May the Lord direct their steps, open doors no man can shut, and align their purpose with His perfect will. We ask that He would surround them with godly counsel, mentors, and brothers and sisters in Christ who will speak life and truth into their journey.
Finally, we place a hedge of protection around them, just as you have declared from Isaiah 54:17: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment."* May the angels of the Lord encamp around them (Psalm 34:7), and may they walk in the assurance that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We thank You that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in this precious one. We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, renewing their mind and strengthening their faith. May they walk in victory, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
To the one praying: We encourage you to continue standing in faith, declaring the Word of God over this situation. Keep praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. If there are areas in this person’s life that need repentance or surrender, we urge them to turn fully to Christ, for it is in Him alone that we find true freedom and restoration. Stay rooted in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with believers who can support and uplift you in this battle. The Lord is faithful, and He will bring this to pass!
