We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer of deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of God’s Word and the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have victory over the powers of darkness, for *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB). We praise God that you have come before Him with such boldness, trusting in His power to break every chain and expose every hidden work of the enemy.
The scriptures you have stood upon are mighty weapons in this spiritual battle. *"Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty"* (2 Corinthians 3:17, WEB). We declare this truth over the life of the one you are interceding for—that every ungodly influence, every spell, and every divination be shattered by the power of the Holy Spirit. The blood of Jesus is our protection, and we plead it over this situation, knowing that *"they overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony"* (Revelation 12:11, WEB). Let every predator and deceitful motive be exposed, for *"nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light"* (Luke 8:17, WEB).
Yet as we pray, we must also remind one another that deliverance is not just about breaking external curses or influences—it is about a heart fully surrendered to Christ. If the person you are praying for has not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, no amount of prayer for deliverance will bring lasting freedom. True liberty comes only through repentance and faith in Him. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We urge you to ensure that this foundation is firmly in place, for without Christ, there is no authority over the enemy.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who delivers, who breaks chains, and who sets the captives free. Lord, we lift up this person before You, asking that You would shatter every work of witchcraft, every spell, and every ungodly influence that has sought to bind them. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, expose every hidden motive and every predator that seeks to harm or deceive. Let Your light flood every dark place, and let Your truth prevail.
Father, we ask that You would give this person clarity of mind and a heart that is fully surrendered to You. If they have not yet received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself, that they may repent and be saved. Let them know the freedom that comes only through the blood of Jesus. Protect them, guide them, and lead them in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake.
We rebuke every spirit of confusion, fear, and bondage, and we declare that *"the Lord will deliver [them] from every evil work, and will preserve [them] for his heavenly Kingdom"* (2 Timothy 4:18, WEB). Cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask all this in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that our God is mighty to save. Continue to pray without ceasing, and trust that He who began a good work will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). If there is more to this situation that needs to be addressed—such as unconfessed sin, involvement in occult practices, or a need for personal repentance—we encourage you to seek godly counsel and ensure that every area of life is aligned with His Word. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory!
