We join with you in lifting up this request for deliverance and protection, standing firmly on the authority of God’s Word. It is clear that you are under spiritual attack, and we commend you for turning to the Lord Jesus Christ in prayer, for He alone is our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is by His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
Your prayer is grounded in powerful scriptures, and we stand with you on them. The Lord rebuked Satan before Joshua the high priest in Zechariah 3:2, saying, *"Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* This same rebuke applies today, for Jesus is our advocate, and He intercedes for us against the accusations of the enemy (1 John 2:1). No weapon formed against you or your household shall prosper, as declared in Isaiah 54:17: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.*
Yet we must also examine our hearts and households to ensure there is no open door for the enemy’s attacks. Are there unconfessed sins, unforgiveness, or idols in your home that could be giving the enemy a foothold? Scripture warns us in Ephesians 4:26-27, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* We encourage you to search your heart and your household, repenting of anything that may be inviting spiritual oppression. The enemy often exploits division, bitterness, or sinful behaviors to gain access. If there is strife, rebellion, or ungodly influences in your home—whether through media, relationships, or personal habits—these must be addressed and removed in Jesus’ name.
We also urge you to put on the full armor of God daily, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Prayer, worship, and the reading of God’s Word are vital in maintaining spiritual protection. Fill your home with the praise of God, for where His presence is, the enemy cannot remain (Psalm 22:3). Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts and households, and do not be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Colossians 3:15, Philippians 4:6).
Now, let us pray together over you and your household:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the authority You have given us through Your Son to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Lord, we lift up our ### who is under attack, and we ask that You rebuke every scheme of Satan that is being waged against them and their household. By the blood of Jesus, we command every demonic assignment, every curse, every accusation, and every weapon formed against them to be nullified and rendered powerless. Let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned, for this is their heritage as Your servants (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You expose and remove any hidden sins, any ungodly influences, or any open doors in their home that the enemy may be using. Let Your Holy Spirit convict and cleanse, bringing repentance where it is needed. Fill this household with Your peace, Your joy, and Your righteousness. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). We declare that this home is a dwelling place for Your presence, and no weapon of the enemy shall prosper within its walls.
Strengthen our ### in their faith, Lord. Let them walk in the victory that Jesus has already won on the cross. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be bold and unwavering in their stand against the enemy. Let them be rooted and grounded in Your love, unshaken by the attacks of the evil one. We pray for unity, love, and godly order in this household, that it may be a beacon of Your light and a refuge from the storms of life.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You surround them with godly counsel and support. Let them not walk this path alone, but raise up brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with them in prayer and encouragement. May they be reminded daily that the battle is Yours, and the victory is already won through Christ Jesus.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
