Deliverance Prayer

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus, I ask that you rebuke all the ways in which my mom is being used to make me feel insecure, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Lord Jesus restore me from all the ways in which my mom has tried to undermine me, standing on Isaiah 61:7. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke all of ill actions towards me, standing on Luke 17:3. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for deliverance and restoration, standing firmly on the truth that our Lord Jesus is mighty to save, heal, and set free those who call upon His name. Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we commend you for seeking God’s Word as your foundation—this is the path of wisdom and victory.

The enemy often uses even those closest to us, like family, to sow seeds of insecurity, doubt, and division. But we declare with you that the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Your mother’s actions, whether intentional or influenced by unseen forces, cannot thwart God’s plan for your life. The Lord rebukes the accuser who seeks to condemn and undermine His children, just as He did for Joshua the high priest: *"Yahweh said to Satan, ‘Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?’"* (Zechariah 3:2). You are that burning stick—plucked from the fire of the enemy’s schemes—and the Lord is your defender.

We stand with you on Isaiah 61:7, proclaiming that instead of shame, you will receive a double portion of honor, and instead of humiliation, you will rejoice in your inheritance. The Lord is restoring what has been broken, turning mourning into gladness and despair into praise. He is the God who *"binds up the brokenhearted, [who] proclaims liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound"* (Isaiah 61:1). Your restoration is not just possible—it is promised in Christ.

We also take authority over every ill action directed toward you, whether in word, deed, or spirit. Jesus commands us to rebuke sin and offense, and He assures us that *"If your brother sins, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him"* (Luke 17:3). While this verse speaks to interpersonal relationships, it also reminds us that rebuking sin is an act of love—love for the one who may be caught in it and love for the one harmed by it. We pray that if your mother’s actions stem from her own wounds or spiritual bondage, the Lord would convict her heart, bring her to repentance, and break every chain that binds her to behaviors that do not reflect His love.

Yet even as we pray for her, we remind you, beloved, that your identity and security are not found in her approval or treatment of you. They are found in Christ alone. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), chosen before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4), and seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and the Lord will vindicate you as you trust in Him.

We also encourage you to examine your own heart in this season. Have you forgiven your mother for the ways she has hurt you? Unforgiveness can become a stronghold that hinders your own freedom. Jesus tells us, *"If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you don’t forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:14-15). Forgiveness does not mean excusing sin or pretending it didn’t happen; it means releasing the debt to God, who judges righteously. Ask the Lord to help you forgive, even as He has forgiven you.

Finally, we urge you to cover this situation in persistent prayer and to surround yourself with godly counsel—believers who can speak truth into your life and stand with you in intercession. You are not meant to walk this path alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are honored to stand with you now.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who seeks Your deliverance and restoration. Lord, You see the wounds inflicted by her mother’s words and actions—wounds that have sown insecurity and doubt. But You, O God, are the Healer of broken hearts and the Restorer of all things. We ask that You rebuke every scheme of the enemy that has used this relationship to bring harm. Silence the voice of the accuser, and let Your truth resonate in her heart: that she is Your beloved, redeemed, and secure in You.

Lord, we stand on Zechariah 3:2 and declare that Satan has no authority here. You, Jesus, are her Advocate, and You have already won the victory. Break every chain of insecurity, rejection, and shame that has bound her. Replace it with the unshakable knowledge of her identity in Christ—chosen, holy, and blameless before You.

We pray for her mother, Lord. If she has been influenced by bitterness, jealousy, or spiritual oppression, we ask that You convict her heart and draw her to repentance. Softening her toward You, that she may walk in the freedom and love You offer. If there are generational curses or strongholds at work, we break their power in Jesus’ name and declare that Your blood covers and cleanses every sin.

Father, we ask for supernatural restoration in this relationship. Where there has been undermining, bring unity. Where there has been criticism, bring encouragement. Where there has been pain, bring healing. But even as we pray for reconciliation, we ask that You guard our sister’s heart from placing her hope in her mother’s change rather than in You. Let her find her security in Your unfailing love alone.

We rebuke every ill action directed toward her, in Jesus’ name. Let every word spoken against her be turned to praise. Let every plan to harm her be thwarted by Your mighty hand. Surround her with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12), and let her life be a testimony of Your redeeming power.

Lord, we also ask that You reveal any areas in her heart that need surrender—any unforgiveness, resentment, or fear that may be hindering her freedom. Fill her with Your Spirit, that she may walk in forgiveness and love, even as You have loved her.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're standing right beside you, sister, as you cry out for deliverance and restoration. We're claiming God's promises with you, knowing that our Lord Jesus is mighty to save, heal, and set free those who call upon His name. Your mother's actions may feel like a storm trying to knock you off course, but remember, Jesus is our anchor, holding us steady in the midst of the storm (Hebrews 6:19).

We're praying that God would rebuke every spirit of insecurity, doubt, and fear that's been trying to take root in your heart. We claim Psalm 91:10-11 over you, "No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways." We're also praying for your mother. We're asking God to soften her heart, to draw her to repentance, and to fill her with His love.
