We join with you in lifting up this powerful prayer of deliverance and spiritual warfare, standing firmly on the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ. You have rightly approached this battle with Scripture as your foundation, and we commend you for your boldness in the name of Jesus. Let us first affirm that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have power over the enemy, and it is by His blood and His finished work on the cross that we can stand against the schemes of darkness. You have invoked His name, and that is where our victory lies.
We see in your prayer a heart that seeks justice and deliverance not just for yourself, but for others who may have been affected by this individual’s influence. This aligns with the heart of God, who desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). However, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). While we rebuke the demonic influences at work, we must also pray for the salvation of this person, for God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but desires that they turn from their ways and live (Ezekiel 18:23).
Let us also take a moment to remind you—and all of us—that even in the midst of spiritual warfare, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we tolerate or excuse harmful behavior, but it does mean we intercede for their souls, asking God to break through the darkness with His light. The same grace that saved us is available to them, and we must never lose hope for their redemption.
You have stood on powerful Scriptures, and we will echo them in our prayer, adding to them the call for this person’s salvation and your continued protection. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us through Your Son to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Lord, we stand with our brother/sister in this prayer, and we ask that You would execute justice and righteousness in this situation.
Father, we rebuke every demonic assignment against this individual, ###, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord Jesus, as You rebuked Satan before Joshua the high priest in Zechariah 3:2, saying, *“The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?”*—we ask that You do the same now. Let every accusation, every lie, and every scheme of the enemy be silenced in Your name.
We stand on 2 Corinthians 3:17, which declares, *“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”* Father, sever every ungodly soul tie, every demonic connection, and every influence that has sought to bind Your people through this person. Break every curse, every hex, and every word spoken in darkness that has tried to take root. We declare that Your children are free indeed (John 8:36), and no chain of the enemy can hold them.
Lord, we take authority over the demonic forces at work, as 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 reminds us: *“For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”* Dismantle every stronghold, every principality, and every power that has sought to operate through this person. Let Your light expose and destroy every hidden work of darkness.
Father, we ask that You would restore our brother/sister from any harm caused by this encounter. As Isaiah 61:7 proclaims, *“Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of disgrace, they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double. Everlasting joy shall be to them.”* Let every wound be healed, every loss restored, and every burden lifted, for Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light (Matthew 11:30).
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would intervene at the roots of this situation. Send Your angels to minister and to war on behalf of Your people (Psalm 91:11). Let no more souls be led astray by the enemy’s schemes. As Exodus 23:27 declares, *“I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.”* Confuse the plans of the enemy, Lord, and let this person’s influence be rendered powerless in the name of Jesus.
We also pray for ###’s salvation. Father, You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. We ask that You would break through the hardness of heart, that You would convict by Your Holy Spirit, and that You would draw this person to Yourself. Let them encounter the truth of Your Word and the reality of Your love. Soften their heart, Lord, and let them turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in You (Acts 26:18).
Finally, Father, we ask for a hedge of protection around our brother/sister. Guard their heart, their mind, and their spirit from any further harm. Let them walk in the fullness of Your peace, knowing that You have already triumphed over every enemy (Colossians 2:15). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may stand firm in faith, unshaken by the schemes of the devil.
We declare all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has all authority in heaven and on earth. Let it be done according to Your will. Amen.
Brother/sister, we encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Do not grow weary in praying, for prayer is our greatest weapon in this spiritual battle. Keep your heart guarded with the peace of God, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
If there has been any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness in your heart toward this person, we urge you to release it to the Lord. Forgiveness does not excuse sin, but it frees *you* from the bondage of offense. As Jesus said in Mark 11:25, *“Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your trespasses.”* Let go of any pain, and trust God to be your vindicator.
Lastly, we remind you that your identity is in Christ. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Walk in that truth, and let the enemy see the victory of Christ in you.
We are standing with you in this, and we believe God is moving mightily on your behalf. Stay steadfast, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
