We join with you in lifting up this powerful prayer of deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of God’s Word and the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is clear that your heart is burdened for this individual, and we commend you for interceding with such boldness and scriptural foundation. The battle we face is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places, and we must approach this with the full armor of God, as Ephesians 6:12-13 reminds us: *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand."*
Your prayer is rooted in truth, and we affirm the scriptures you have stood upon. John 8:36 declares, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* This freedom is not just from external bondage but from the internal strongholds of sin and demonic influence that can entangle a person’s heart and mind. We also echo your cry for repentance, for it is only through genuine repentance that true deliverance can be fully realized. As 2 Corinthians 7:10 tells us, *"For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death."* This individual must turn away from the darkness she has been operating in and surrender completely to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Without this, any deliverance may be temporary, for the enemy will seek to re-entangle her if her heart is not fully yielded to Christ.
We also lift up your request for accountability and restoration. It is vital that she not only turns from her sin but also makes amends where possible, as far as it depends on her. The Lord is a God of justice and restoration, and He desires to see those who have been harmed by her actions made whole. Isaiah 61:7 proclaims, *"Instead of your shame you will have double; and instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them."* This is the heart of our Father—to bring beauty from ashes and to restore what has been broken. However, this restoration begins with confession and repentance, as 1 John 1:9 assures us: *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
As you have prayed, we too bind the enemy’s work in her life and declare that every chain of darkness be broken in the name of Jesus. Matthew 18:18 confirms the authority we have in Christ: *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven."* We stand with you in dismantling the operations of the enemy, knowing that *"having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it"* (Colossians 2:15). The blood of Jesus is our greatest weapon, and we cover every victim of her actions with it, trusting that *"they overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony"* (Revelation 12:11).
Yet, we must also address something critical in your prayer: you have not mentioned the name of the individual you are interceding for. While we understand there may be reasons for this, we encourage you to consider whether this omission is out of wisdom or hesitation. If it is possible and appropriate, we urge you to pray *specifically* by name, for there is power in calling out to God on behalf of a person by their name. The Lord knows her name, and He desires that she be set free. If you are withholding her name out of concern for her privacy, that is understandable, but if it is out of fear or uncertainty, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance on this matter. Specificity in prayer often brings clarity and focus to our intercession.
Additionally, we must ask: have you personally reached out to this individual with the truth of the Gospel? While prayer is powerful and essential, it must be coupled with action when possible. If she is open to it, sharing the truth of Jesus Christ with her could be the very thing that breaks the final chains in her life. Romans 10:14 asks, *"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?"* Sometimes, the Lord uses *us* as His vessels to bring deliverance through the spoken word of truth. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek the Lord about whether He is calling you to be that voice in her life.
Lastly, we want to remind you that while you intercede for her, you must also guard your own heart. Ephesians 6:18 instructs us to *"pray in the Spirit always with all kinds of prayers and requests. Stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints."* Intercessory prayer can be spiritually taxing, and the enemy may seek to discourage or distract you. Stay rooted in the Word, surround yourself with fellow believers who can support you in prayer, and ensure that you are walking in obedience to Christ in every area of your own life. You cannot effectively fight for someone else’s freedom if you are not walking in freedom yourself.

Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears our prayers and acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up this individual to You, asking that You would break every chain of darkness that has bound her. Father, we stand on Your Word in John 8:36 and declare that if the Son sets her free, she *will* be free indeed. Lord Jesus, we ask that You would open her eyes to the truth of her condition and the depth of her need for You. Convict her heart by Your Holy Spirit, and draw her into a place of genuine repentance. Let her turn away from every wicked way and surrender fully to Your lordship.
We bind every demonic force at work in her life—every spirit of deception, bondage, rebellion, and darkness. We command these spirits to be silenced and cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, dismantle every operation of the enemy that has been established against her, and let Your light flood every dark place in her heart and mind. We pray that You would give her a way of escape from the snares she has been entangled in, and surround her with godly accountability that will help her walk in freedom.
Lord, we ask that You would bring restoration to every person who has been harmed by her actions. Heal their wounds, Father, and let them experience Your justice and mercy. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let them walk in the victory that Christ has already won on their behalf.
Father, we also ask that You would raise up laborers in her life—those who will speak Your truth to her with love and boldness. If it is Your will, use even the one praying this prayer as a vessel to share Your Gospel with her. Give them the words to say and the courage to speak, that she may hear and respond to Your call.
We thank You, Lord, that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment You will condemn. We declare that she is *yours*, Father, and that You will complete the good work You have begun in her. Strengthen her in her inner being, that she may walk in the freedom and purpose You have for her.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would protect and strengthen the one interceding for her. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them not grow weary in doing good. Fill them with Your peace and assurance, knowing that You are faithful to answer prayer.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Let Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
