We join you together in agreement in the name of Jesus and thank you for bringing this man before the Lord with such burden and love. We hear your heart for his deliverance and we stand with you, believing that God hears when we agree together as Jesus promised in Matthew 18:19 that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by our Father who is in heaven. We thank God for the cross and for His holy Son Jesus who suffered for all who believe, for without Him we have no access to the Father.
We are encouraged by your prayer because it seeks God's will and His holy plan for this man's life. Scripture reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11 that I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, and in Isaiah 55:8-9 that God's thoughts are far greater than ours. You rightly pray that he would hear God's voice and see the clear truth about his identity in Christ. The enemy offers false identities through sin, but the Word declares in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. Any identity adopted through sinful relationships or activities is false and must be renounced, for our true identity is only found as children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
We also agree with you concerning his stony heart. Only God can transform a heart, as He promises in Ezekiel 36:26 that I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. We pray for that miracle of softening and courage to choose the narrow path, for Jesus taught in Matthew 7:13-14 to enter in by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life. Few are those who find it. It takes courage to leave the broad way of following our own desires.
We must also speak plainly about what you have discerned concerning sinful and hateful relationships, control, blackmail, and the evil woman in his life. The Scripture warns us repeatedly about sexual immorality and ungodly entanglements. God ordained sexual intimacy to be within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman for life, as Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Any sexual relationship outside of that holy marriage is fornication or adultery and is sin before God, and must be repented of and forsaken. This includes adultery, fornication, and also homosexuality which is likewise forbidden and called sin in passages such as 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and Romans 1:26-27, yet the same passage declares that such were some of you, but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus. There is deliverance and forgiveness for all who turn. The Proverbs also warn with great sobriety about the immoral woman in Proverbs 5:3-5 and Proverbs 6:24 to keep you from the immoral woman, and we are told in 1 Corinthians 15:33 not to be deceived, for evil companionships corrupt good morals. To depart from evil is wisdom, and Proverbs 9:10 teaches that the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, and Proverbs 8:13 that the fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. When a relationship is marked by control, blackmail, manipulation and danger, it is not of God, for God is love and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom as 2 Corinthians 3:17 says.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the cross and for Your holy Son Jesus who shed His blood for all who believe. We praise Your holy name and Your mercy. Lord, You know this man who rented his flat to our friend, You know his name, his struggles and the plans You have for him. We bring him before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, open his eyes to the unmistakable truth of who he is in Christ, and expose the false identity he has adopted through sinful relationships and straying from Your narrow path. Break his stony heart, Father, and give him a heart of flesh that hears Your voice and fears Your holy name. Give him courage to turn from his own desires and to follow You with his whole heart.
Lord, we ask You to separate him from every ungodly influence, including those in his household, and from every hateful and sinful relationship where he is controlled, blackmailed and even in danger. Cut those chains, Lord, for Your Word says in Psalm 107:14 that You brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds in sunder, and in John 8:36 that if therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. Deliver him from the evil woman in his life and from all fornication and impurity, and grant him understanding to depart from evil and to hate what You hate and love what You love. Surround him with Your protection, for Psalm 34:7 says Yahweh's angel encamps around those who fear him, and deliver him. Help him to flee sexual immorality as 1 Corinthians 6:18 commands, and to resist the devil as James 4:7 promises that when we are subject to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us. Wash him, cleanse him and make him new, that he may walk in holiness and pursue a godly marriage if it is Your will, honoring You in purity and truth. We ask that he would come to know the depth of Your love and the forgiveness that is only in Jesus, for Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap for him with steadfast prayer and fasting as the Lord leads, speaking the truth in love and not growing weary. Continue to show him the love of Christ while not condoning sin, and encourage him toward fellowship with faithful believers who will strengthen him in the Word and hold him accountable. Trust that God who began a good work will be faithful to complete it, for 1 John 1:9 assures us that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We remain with you in prayer for his full deliverance, protection and restoration for God's glory.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
