I received this message today from my ex-husband; who was very abusive verbally and physically with me. He abandon our son at age 12 without stating where he was. THis summer our son 18 spent the summer with his father in New York; who did not prepare Aaron to get to college. All the school emails and information set he ignored. His father promised a summer job - no job, had no airfare or ticket to fly him to college, promised Aaron registration for college - no $$ for that, nor books Aaron believed his father would have for him. I drove 32 hours to meet up with Aaron to help our son get settled. He was 2 days late for school. Aaron blamed me for all his misfortune by cursing my name. He is at a christian college, Oral Roberts University. His father told this summer not to speak with me and stated our side of the family were 'agents of the devil'. Here is the latest message sent from his father....in response to me stating how we would manage our son's tuition....I believe I have done all I can at this point. Please pray for super natural deliverance and Aaron will seek the advice of God Almighty and God's will be established in his life. THe strife and confusion his father wants to create and division with chaos; I pray God will quite the storm and this will have NO long effects on Aaron's purpose or future. And that I can and Aaron be able to restore the mother and son relationship his father tired to destroy this summer. Here is the father's email to me copying our son just 18 although an adult still has as we know a lot of growing up to do. Please pray for super natural victory and Aaron shall have a mind of Christ and follow the prompting of the holy spirit and that all bitterness, confusion, and darkness be put far from him.
Father's email: "Thanks for the honest communications. Since we are all adults now, including Aaron, I will discontinue contact with you and your family now that Aaron is all set. I will continue to advise Aaron and will let him handle his schooling and will contact him directly.Thanks for the advice.Best Regards." He implies a lot and his father has been a loner.
