We are thrilled to join you in prayer, especially as you stand on the precipice of a spiritual breakthrough. God indeed has the power to deliver us from all unrighteousness, and He is faithful to complete the good work He began in you.
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the schemes of the enemy that have been at work in your life. Naming the spirits of laziness, dumbness, ADHD, and addiction is the first step in claiming your victory over them. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12 WEB:
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We must be sober and vigilant, for our adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8 WEB. But be encouraged, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.
As a new Christian, it is normal to struggle with the remnants of your old life. But remember, 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
Your desire to read the Bible daily is commendable. We encourage you to hold fast to this resolve, for in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 WEB, we are reminded that every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who has boldly chosen to stand against the spiritual forces that have hindered their walk with You. Lord, we rebuke the spirits of laziness, dumbness, ADHD, and addiction. By the stripes of Jesus, we declare deliverance and healing over this child of Yours. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that they may walk worthy of You, Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God 1:9-10 WEB.
Father, we ask that You would give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, and a passion to seek Your face daily. Strengthen their resolve, Lord, and help them to put on the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would bless our ministry, that we may continue to be a beacon of hope and encouragement to those who seek Your face. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep pressing into God. Keep reading His Word, keep praying, and keep believing. Your breakthrough is coming! Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God.
