We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your children up in fervent prayer. The spirit of death and the torment you’ve described are not of God, for He has come that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The dreams of death and the voices speaking destruction are tools of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. But we stand on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the schemes of the devil. If you have not already, we urge you to confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is the first step to true deliverance, as it is through Christ that we are set free from the power of darkness and transferred into His kingdom (Colossians 1:13-14). If you have already placed your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to reaffirm that commitment and stand firm in His truth.
The spirit of death has no authority over you or your children, for you are covered by the blood of Jesus. We rebuke this spirit in the mighty name of Jesus and command it to flee from you and your household. The enemy has no legal right to torment you, especially as you stand on the Word of God. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). You are a widow, and God is your husband (Isaiah 54:5). He sees your tears, hears your cries, and will not abandon you or your children.
We pray that El-Roi, the God who sees, would open your eyes to His presence and protection. May He surround you and your children with His angels, as He has promised to give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We bind every spirit of fear, death, and torment in the name of Jesus and loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). We declare that your home is a dwelling place for the Most High, and no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
Father God, we ask You to break every generational curse of death and destruction over this family. We cancel every assignment of the enemy against them and command every evil spirit to leave now in the name of Jesus. Fill this precious widow and her children with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the light of Your truth and experience Your peace that passes all understanding. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them know that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2).
We also encourage you to take practical steps to stand against this spiritual attack. Begin each day by pleading the blood of Jesus over yourself and your children. Speak the Word of God aloud, for the enemy flees at the sound of His truth. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to keep you in darkness. Instead, walk in the light of Christ and allow His love to cast out all fear (1 John 1:7, 1 John 4:18).
Lastly, we declare that the dreams of death will cease, and the voices of torment will be silenced. You and your children will walk in the fullness of life that Jesus came to give. We pray for healing in your heart from the loss of your husband, and we ask God to fill that void with His love and presence. May you experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit and the hope of eternal life with Christ.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
