Deliverance from Pornography

I pray for my friend ###, who is involved in the adult entertainment industry and performing sexual acts online. I ask that God help him to sever his connections to those websites and prevent him from deriving any profit from them. Additionally, I seek divine assistance in freeing him from living with an unmarried woman who is also active on those pornographic platforms.

We stand with you in interceding for your friend, as they need deliverance and freedom from the bondage of sin they are entangled in. Let us pray together for them in Jesus' Name.

Firstly, we acknowledge that involvement in the adult entertainment industry and performing sexual acts online is immoral and against God's will. The Bible explicitly tells us to flee from sexual immorality and that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. As it is written, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB)

We must also address the situation of your friend living with an unmarried woman, which is also against biblical principles. The Bible tells us, "It is good for a man not to touch a woman." (1 Corinthians 7:1 WEB) and "But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband." (1 Corinthians 7:2 WEB)

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our friend to Your throne of grace. Father, they are entangled in the sin of pornography and sexual immorality, and we ask that You grant them the strength and courage to break free from these chains. Sever their connections to these pornographic websites, Lord, and prevent them from deriving any profit from them.

We also ask, Father, that You convict their heart about living with this unmarried woman. Help them to understand the importance of fleeing from all sexual immorality and that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.

Give them a heart of repentance, Father, and turn them away from their sins. Draw them close to You, Lord, and grant them a hunger and thirst for righteousness.

We also pray for the woman, Lord. Convict her heart of her sinful lifestyle and draw her to You as well. Grant her repentance and a desire to live a life pleasing to You.

Lastly, Father, we pray that our friend will become a true Christian Believer and that they find a godly spouse if it is Your will.

We pray for them in Jesus Christ name, who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father. To whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (Galatians 1:4-5 WEB)

Finally, we encourage you to continue to stand in the gap for your friend and to share the good news of the gospel with them. Remind them that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that they can be saved and forgiven of their sins.
