We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your brother before the Lord. The pain of seeing a loved one turned against family is deep, and the abuse you all are enduring is not something to bear alone. We stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every evil spirit through His death and resurrection.
The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Your brother is not your enemy—there is a spiritual battle at work here, and we must address it with the power of God’s Word and the name of Jesus.
We rebuke every evil spirit that has taken hold of your brother in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every spirit of division, hatred, and violence to flee right now in Jesus’ name. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We plead the blood of Jesus over your brother and your entire family, covering you all in His protection.
Father God, we ask You to break every chain of darkness that has bound your brother. Soften his heart, Lord, and open his eyes to the truth of Your love. We pray for a supernatural intervention—send Your angels to minister to him, to surround him with Your peace, and to draw him back to You. We ask for wisdom and discernment for this family, that they may know how to respond in love while standing firm in the truth.
We also lift up the family members who are enduring this abuse. Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to respond with grace and patience, even in the face of hostility, and to trust in Your justice and deliverance. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19).
If there has been any unconfessed sin, any unforgiveness, or any open door in this family that has allowed the enemy to gain a foothold, we ask for Your conviction and cleansing. Create in each of them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). We pray for unity in this family, that they may be bound together in love and stand strong against the schemes of the devil.
We declare that your brother is not lost—he is a child of God, and no plan of the enemy will prevail against him. Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and we believe that freedom is coming for him. We stand on the promise of 1 John 4:4, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world."
Lord, we ask for a miracle. Let Your light shine into the darkness that has taken hold of him. Surround him with godly influences—people who will speak truth into his life and pray for his restoration. We ask for dreams, visions, and divine encounters that will turn his heart back to You. Let him remember the love of his family and the love of his Savior.
We also pray for this family’s protection. Shield them from harm, both physically and emotionally. Give them the strength to set boundaries where needed and the wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent. Fill their home with Your presence, Lord, so that the enemy cannot dwell there.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we command every evil spirit to leave your brother now. We declare that he is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ. We trust in You, Lord, and we believe that Your deliverance is on the way.
Amen.
