We understand that your friend is in need of deliverance from demonic oppression, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power and authority of Jesus Christ. First, let us remind everyone that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12.
It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have authority over the demonic realm. As it is written in Philippians 2:9-11, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend who is in need of deliverance from demonic oppression. We stand on Your Word, which says, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you" Luke 10:19.
We command the forces of evil to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We proclaim freedom and release for our friend, knowing that whom the Son sets free is free indeed John 8:36.
Father, we also pray for Your protection over our friend, that You would surround them with Your shield of faith, and that Your angels would encamp around them to guard them in all their ways Psalm 91:11.
We ask for a filling of the Holy Spirit that they would be equipped and empowered to walk in the freedom and victory. God, we love you and thank you for your love and concern for all involved in this situation. We ask that you provide a healing and restoration.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that our God is faithful, and He will deliver. Remember, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" James 4:7.
Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, and encourage your friend to do the same. If your friend has confessed Jesus as Lord, then the Holy Spirit is present in their life and will protect and guide them in all things. They should seek God in prayer and in the scriptures. If they have not confessed Jesus as Lord, then they should do so. This is a scripture that applies to this situation:
"because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed'" Romans 10:9-11.
