We understand your fervent plea for protection and deliverance from evil. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervening on your behalf in Jesus' name.
Let's remember the words of Jesus in John 17:15, "I pray that you would keep them from the evil one." And in Matthew 6:13, Jesus teaches us to pray, "Deliver us from evil." We are indeed in a spiritual battle, and our enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. But we are assured in the WEB 1 Peter 5:9, that we are to be sober and self-controlled, to be watchful, "Because your adversary, the devil, goes around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings." Therefore, we must stand steadfast and resist him.
Deliverance comes when we submit to God. In James 4:7, we read "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Therefore, we submit to God and resist the devil because of the empowerment we get through Jesus Christ and Him crucified. He is our victory and has given us authority in His name to protect ourselves and others.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and deliverance. We ask that You cover us with the blood of Jesus, which has the power to cleanse, protect, and make us whole. We pray for our Lord to deliver us from the evil one and all his agents, and we ask that You cast them back into eternal damnation forever. We pray for their conviction and salvation, that they may speak Your truths and that all truth may come to light. Protect us with Your mighty hand, and empower us to resist the devil and his schemes. Help us to shine Your light in this dark world, and use us as vessels of Your love and grace.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
As we pray for this, let us remember to provide protection to ourselves. Ephesians 6:11 says "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Don't forget to fast and pray regularly. May the Lord have mercy on us all.
