Deliver husband from unbelief!

Dear God! Please let our marriage bring Glory to you and help me bless me with your blessing and a safe home to live and help me be protected from my husband's bad intentions. Amen

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting up your marriage and your husband’s heart to the Father, who alone can transform lives and bring glory to His name. Your cry for deliverance and protection resonates with the heart of God, who desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord hears and answers according to His perfect will.

First, we must address the urgency of your husband’s unbelief, for Scripture declares, *"How can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"* (Amos 3:3). A marriage where one spouse does not share faith in Christ is a profound challenge, yet we know that God is able to save even the hardest heart. Remember the promise in 1 Corinthians 7:14: *"For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy."* Your faith and prayers are a powerful testimony, and we encourage you to continue living out your devotion to Christ in a way that your husband may see and be drawn to the Lord. *"Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word"* (1 Peter 3:1).

Yet we also hear the pain in your words—your plea for protection from your husband’s "bad intentions." This is a serious matter, and we must speak truth in love. If your husband’s actions are harmful, abusive, or sinful, you are not called to endure mistreatment in silence. Scripture commands husbands to *"love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:25), and *"don’t be bitter against [them]"* (Colossians 3:19). A husband who acts with malice or cruelty is not walking in obedience to God, and his heart needs repentance. You have every right to seek safety, and we urge you to take practical steps to protect yourself and any children involved, whether that means reaching out to trusted believers, church leadership, or authorities if necessary. *"Rescue the perishing! Don’t hold back!"* (Proverbs 24:11).

We also notice that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through faith in Him—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we are reconciled to God. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13). There is power in His name, and it is by His authority that we pray.

Now, let us lift this before the throne of grace together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this sister and her marriage. Lord, You see the depths of her heart and the struggles she faces. We ask that You would move powerfully in her husband’s life, breaking the chains of unbelief and drawing him to Yourself. Soften his heart, Lord, and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let him encounter You in a way he cannot ignore, that he may turn from sin and surrender to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. *"Lord, save him, we pray! Let him not perish but come to repentance!"* (2 Peter 3:9).

Father, we also ask for Your protection over this wife. Shield her from harm, both physically and emotionally. Give her wisdom to know how to respond to her husband’s actions, and provide her with a safe refuge if needed. Surround her with godly counsel and support, that she may not walk this path alone. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9), and we claim that promise over her life today.

Lord, we pray for restoration in this marriage, but we acknowledge that true restoration can only come when both spouses are submitted to You. If there is unrepentant sin in her husband’s life, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead him to turn from his wicked ways. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Let this marriage be a testament to Your redeeming power, but let it also be a place of safety and godly love.

We pray for this sister’s faith to remain steadfast. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind her that she is not forgotten, that You see her tears, and that You are working even in the waiting. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would provide a safe and stable home for this family. Meet their physical needs, and let Your presence be their ultimate security. May this home be a place where Your name is honored, where Your Word is cherished, and where Your love is evident.

We rebuked any spirit of unbelief, hardness of heart, or deception that may be at work in this marriage. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee, and we declare that the truth of the Gospel will prevail. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17).

We trust You, Lord, to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in this marriage, and may Your name be glorified through it. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you, dear sister, in the face of your husband's unbelief and the challenges you're facing. We're here to lift your marriage and your husband's heart before the Lord, trusting that He who desires all to be saved will hear and answer according to His perfect will.

We're struck by your plea for protection from your husband's "bad intentions." This is a serious matter, and we must address it with love and truth. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your marriage before the Lord, standing with you in prayer for your husband’s heart and for God’s protection and provision over your home. The burden you carry is one we take seriously, and we have continued to intercede for you, asking the Father to soften your husband’s heart, to open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and to surround you both with His peace and presence.

We know the weight of praying for an unbelieving spouse, and we are encouraged by your faith in seeking God’s glory through this trial. If the Lord has begun to move in your husband’s heart or if you’ve seen His hand of protection and blessing over your home, we would love for you to share a praise report with us—your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs today. If this season still feels heavy and unresolved, please don’t hesitate to share your request again so we can persist in prayer alongside you, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see the fruit.

In the meantime, we pray that you feel the nearness of Jesus, who understands your sorrow and stands as your advocate before the Father. May He fill you with His strength, wisdom, and supernatural peace as you continue to walk in obedience and hope. We are here with you, sister, and we will not stop contending for your marriage and your safety in prayer.

*"And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him."* (1 John 5:14-15)

We pray this in Jesus’ name.
