We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from degenerative disc disease and sciatica. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and sustains every part of our bodies. Your Word declares in Exodus 15:26, *"I am Yahweh who heals you,"* and we stand on that promise today.
Lord, we ask for Your divine touch upon this dear one’s spine and nerves. Bring restoration where there is degeneration, strength where there is weakness, and relief where there is pain. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, for Your Word says in Luke 10:19, *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* We declare that this condition will not have dominion over them, for by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and healthcare providers involved in their care. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may offer the best treatment according to Your will. Give this beloved one patience and perseverance as they walk through this trial, reminding them that You are their strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Father, we ask that You would draw them closer to You through this season. Let this pain be a reminder of Your nearness, for You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and surround them with Your love.
We also encourage this dear one to seek You daily, to meditate on Your Word, and to trust in Your timing. Healing may come in many forms—through medicine, through miraculous intervention, or through the strength to endure with joy. Whatever the outcome, we pray that You would be glorified in their life.
Lord, we thank You for the authority we have in the name of Jesus. There is power in His name, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). We declare that this prayer is heard and that Your will shall be done.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
