We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from degenerative disc disease and sciatica. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every part of our bodies. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing has been provided (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your promise that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lord, we ask that You would touch this precious one with Your healing hand, restoring strength to their body, relieving the pain, and renewing their hope.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, for it is written that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every affected disc, nerve, and muscle to align with Your perfect design, Lord. We pray for supernatural restoration, that where there has been degeneration, You would bring regeneration. May this dear one experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage you to seek godly wisdom in managing this condition—through prayer, medical care, physical therapy, and rest—while trusting in the Lord’s timing and purpose. Remember, beloved, that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this trial, He is shaping your faith and drawing you closer to Himself.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are our Healer and our Strength. We ask that You would pour out Your healing virtue upon this one who is suffering. Touch their body, Lord, and make it whole. Ease the pain, restore mobility, and renew their spirit. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them in every moment of this journey. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or healed. Amen.
