We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your brother and his fiancée’s baby. This is a heartbreaking time for them, and we want to lift them up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind them of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God Almighty. This is a call to pray in the saving name of Jesus. As scripture says, And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved WEB!
In moments like these, it's natural to feel overwhelmed by grief. God understands their pain and wants to comfort them. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB, it says, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Psalm 34:18 WEB also reminds us, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this brother and his fiancée who are grieving the loss of their child. Father, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them and comfort them in their time of need. Help them to feel Your presence and know that You are with them, even in their darkest hours.
Lord, we pray for healing in their hearts and minds. Give them the strength to endure this trial and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide them through this difficult time and help them to trust in Your goodness and Your plan for their lives.
We also pray for their marriage to be, that they would grow closer to each other and to You through this trial. Help them to support each other and to find solace in Your Word and Your promises.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage them to draw near to God during this time. As it says in James 4:8 WEB, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
May they find comfort in the knowledge that God is with them and that He cares for them deeply.
