Dear Prayer Warriors:

I'm undergoing a very deep depression which is unrelenting. I have been under psychiatric care for thirteen weeks. The medication is helping some, but not as much as I need it to do. I also am talking with the counselor and not sure if he will be able to help me. I need prayer that God will restore my mind and help me think with clarity. Please pray for me

I stand in agreement with you in prayer on this. It is possible that a different type of medication will be needed so please tell your doctor all relevant details. I'm so glad you understand depression has, in my opinion, a spiritual component and your are wise in calling out to our Lord Jesus for help. Keep going to your psychiatrist--even when you start to feel better, keep taking your meds, keep getting good rest and good nutrition, keep daily exercise going-even when you don't feel like a walk, still take it. And know that Jesus absolutely can and will walk you through this valley! Let the Lord Jesus fill every cell inside your body with his light and love! God is so powerful and you can rely on His strength on this.

Father God, I ask that the depression diminishes. Remove any blue or dark feelings and replace them with sun, joy, and hope. You are awesome and I thank you.
