Dear Pastors/Prayer Ministry Blessings in Christ’s wonderful Name
Thank you for your ongoing prayer support for ### (age ###) - (born with Down Syndrome) ###, since he has been admitted at the ###, ###, ###, ###, ### on ### - still in ICU on high-flow oxygen and receives treatment (antibiotics) for infection in his lungs. I spoke to his physician yesterday. He advised: he is very concerned about ###’s health situation. We need to continue praying for him. He is very sick and is becoming weak. When the physiotherapists attended to him yesterday he was too weak to stand on his own. They had to help him to stand. They would need his co-operation with the physiotherapy in order to restore movement/function so that he can get stronger. ### has also lost a lot of weight. I can see that ### is tired of being in hospital for so long and all the medical treatment/injections and wants to come home to us. He keeps on asking for the wheelchair that we take him home. His physician advised: they still wish to proceed for a little while longer with the oxygen saturation therapy ie take him off the high-flow oxygen (###L) and place him on oxygen similar to the oxygen saturation he is on at home (###L Oxygen Concentrator). If there is improvement he can then come home. If, however, they see that they are not making any progress with him we can then decide whether ### should rather come home and he spent quality time with us. We need the Lord’s guidance in this decision... at this stage we are not sure what to do – it is a difficult decision for the family. We are still in good faith – trusting the Lord for ###’s health situation (lungs/heart) to be restored in Jesus’ Name. Thank you Lord for Your precious Hand upon ###’ and for his protection under the Blood of Jesus. Thank you so much for your prayers for ###. It is wonderful to know so many Pastors, fellow-believers in Christ, family members and friends are praying for him. God bless ### & family
