Dear Pastoral Staff;

My son James and I have been wanting to quit smoking and we have decided to set a quit date of October 15th and we know that we can not do this alone. I have been smoking for over 48 years and my health is beginning to show the effects of this terrible affliction in my life. We both realize how important it is for us to get the victory over smoking, further more we know that we can not have the relationship with our Jesus that we both so desperately need. Please pray earnestly for us as we know that we need as many prayer warriors as possible for us to claim this victory. Thank you in advance for your prayer support.

Jesus, you said you came to bring of life and life more abundantly. I pray that you would deliver and set free. This family that is wanting to be delivered from nicotine and smoking. Jesus, you came to set the captives free. You said in our weakness. You were made strong. I pray that you would remove the very desire from them to participate in smoking. I pray that they would not buy any more cigarettes to even be tempted. So they can walk in the liberty and freedom that Christ made possible. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Father in the name of Jesus I come before you; nothing in my hand I bring but simple to your cross I cling; if Thou withdraw thyself from me then where should I go. Here are your two sons wanting to serve you but smoking demons have overtaken their lives; I curse this demon of smoking in the name of the Father, In the name of the Son and in the name of the Holy Spirit and demand it back to whence it came.

I pray for renewed strength in their lives and the power to claim the victory and deliverance from the enemy by faith.I also claim them for your kingdom and demand Satan to get behind as it is written. Give them the peace that pass all understanding, send your guardian angels to encamp round about them; I plea your precious blood

over all their situations and tell you thanks for what you are about to do.
