Dear Lord, please save my 17 years old son. You know his heart. He is away from home and he is away from You. My heart is broken to pieces... I know I have been a bad father. My oldest daughter did the same when she was 17...I was ..devastated...crushed...I backslid and we got a divorce after 25 years (30 with him)....(it was the beginning of hell on earth for me)..all I do know is if I had to do it all over again...I'd give unconditional love to all my kids in ALL they did..you see I was embarrassed of their actions, "I was a "pillar" in the church....lol...that was soooo long ago...the way I thought.....it's been 14 years and we still are not the same.we use to be really close....she loves the Lord and is seeks God in a mighty way and walks according to His word which I am so grateful for...she has two children ...our relationship is good but distant..it does not help she lives about 1 1/2 hrs from me and life just seems to go on without me in their lives she has her own family now...

Reach out...he knows exactly what you believe, YOU don't have to preach it.....reach out in Love...at any cost...just like God does...what good is it that we save the world and leave our own families to get lost...He is 17 and does NOT know God...he knows OF Him...that's where I went wrong in my thinking toward my two oldest....they both backslid at 17...now, my son's father in law is a Preacher...pretty big one too...my son went full circle also...my youngest at 17 started down the wrong path...I sent her to her brother for a visit and she never came back home...she is full blown Jesus lovin foot stompin child of GOD...all three left at 17 and ALL came back to HIM....he will find his way...you just help guide in love...not force..sometimes you may have to push but don't shove, that will make him fall...he is just confused right now...looking to see if what you have is real...and if your actions weren't so good with him growing up...he's confused...lead him back home...fight the fight in the spirit for your son...fast pray seek, KNOW...that God's promises are real and sure..He promises your son to come back...stand on that NO MATTER WHAT YOU SEE..(my kids did lots..... my heart still aches at the torture and the experiences that the world showed them and that they could have been addicted to.....they were sheltered all their lives then they were gone into a world I knew could kill them and I just watched and prayed..) reach out in Love....sometimes a look a lift of an eyebrow...says more than any words...invite THEM over...your their link to God....you are the person who stands in the Gap....if you backslid...how do you want God to treat you...just leave you to your sin? heaven forbid...take your example from God...and reach out in unconditional love...the damage can stay for a very long time...and YOU will be the one to miss out on your kids and their kids...LOVE, the greatest gift...it's the ultimate glory you can give to God...God bless Lord send Peace to this family and touch them with the power of Your Truths...in Jesus name.. Seek God He will give you wisdom follow Peace and He is always there....God bless.
