Dear Lord,
How often you have told us 'Be not afraid'
Yet at times I feel crippled with fear, I pray Lord you will take away all my negatives thoughts and feelings and anoint my mind with the peace that only you can give. Lord I ask of you to guide and protect me and my family, friends physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and in every way. In Jesus name, amen.
It actually is a commandment, be not afraid. God has not given you the spirit of fear (dread) but of power and of love and of a sound mind. We are told to cast down imaginations and every thought that rises up against the knowledge of God and bring them into captivity to the obedience of Christ. God is not going to take away all your negative thoughts and feelings and anoint your mind with peace. He has already done all and given us all things. It is our responsibility to be renewed in our mind and in the 'spirit' of our mind. Think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and praiseworthy, if there be any excellence, if there be any praise, to think on these things and these things are all of the goodness of God. Father, thank you for wooing me, calling me, drawing me by Your Spirit and then You said, LIGHT BE! and the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ shined in my heart and mind and I said, YES! Thank you for saving me and delivering me from the hand of the enemy. Thank you that no weapon formed against me shall prosper and every tongue that rises up to condemn me, I will cast down. Thank you that You are my Prince of Peace, for Your word says to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, for the kingdom of God is righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. I thank you for salvation for it is all inclusive, for my healing, for sound mind, for you have said, I have the mind of Christ, provision, protection, deliverance, victory. Thank you that with long life you will love me and show me Your salvation. Thank you for you are good and your mercies endure forever. Thank you for making me righteous in your sight. Thank you that you have anointed me and called me with a holy calling. I am Your beloved and you are mine. Thank you for your word which is spirit and is life, and I do taste and see that the Lord, You are good. I delight in You, God, Your truth is my shield and buckler. I love you, Father, in Jesus name. Amen.
