Dear Lord,

Please help me and guide me and give me strenght during the holidays as I have a very hard time enjoying since my mother passed on 19 years ago on my 30th birthday on January 12th. This time of year is extremely difficult for me as Christmas was her favorite holiday and she always made it so special for her children, her last Christmas was stressful for her as there were a few fights amongst her grown children on Christmas Eve. She died unexpectadly a few weeks later on my 30th birthday. I am the youngest of 11 children. I try to work through this and put a smile on my face, but it doesn't always work, especially when my husband has been out of work on disability for over a year and my youngest son is failing 10th grade. The stress at times seems unbearable. Please pray that I find the strength and finances to give my family a nice Christmas and dinner without breaking down as I always seem to do. I pray for a holiday full of joy and peace as it is suppose to be a time to celebrate the birth of our Lord.

I pray that God be with you and strengthen you now and especially for the holidays. I lost my mother july 2010 and she was like my best friend. I know how you feel, just ask God to be there with you as you take it one day at a time. God will never leave you nor forsake you..He will be there with you as you go through each second of each day..
